Dears,
My customer wants to develop a GUI to program firmware through miniprog4.
It has the same functionality as Cypress Programmer, but customer wants to add the features they need.
Is there any document we can refer to for this?
To make development easier, he would like to use the .dll files used by cypress programmer.

Thanks and Regards,
YS

Hi @YongseokJeon

Yes, the Open On-Chip Debugger is the debugger tool that provides on-chip programming support. This tool acts as a backend of the CYP application. But currently, there is no document to support GUI development using Open-OCD.

Thanks and Regards,
Leo

Hi @YongseokJeon

There is no document that guides the modification of Cypress Programmer directly. You can refer to the PPCOM(PSoC Programmer COM) userguide to develop GUI platforms to program the device. I have attached the document. Please go throught the same and check if it helps.

Thanks and Regards,
Leo

Hi Leo,

The document you attached is about PSoC Programmer. (not Cypress Programmer)
Does Cypress Programmer operate internally based on the openocd CLI (command-line interface)?
If yes, should we create a GUI using openocd CLI?

Thanks and Regards,
YS
