Hello team,

Hope you are doing well.

  • Wanted to confirm that PSoC 62 capable of Secure Boot -> Yes / No
  • The datasheet displays standard orderable part numbers. How can we differentiate between standard and 'secure' parts? Table 57 in the datasheet shows CY8Cxxx variants, which are standard parts capable of 'Secure Boot'.
  • Would the part numbers change once a device is programmed for secure boot?

Thank you.

Hi @kalsi,

Only the PSoC64 family of devices capable of secure boot. PSoC62 devices doesn't have the Secure boot capability. Products with CYB0... Supports secure boot, which comes under PSoC64 device family. Refer the attached image for more details.
The part number will not change after the device is programmed for secure boot.

Thanks and regards,

Pushyanth
