Is there a document with a table of the number of UDBs consumed by individual PSoC Creator components? For example, I need to know if the PSoC 6 (with its limited number of UDBs compared to the PSoC 5) will support four of the PSoC Creator QuadDec components.

Note that PSoC 6 has plenty of fixed function TCPWMs, which can implement a QuadDec.

Resource usage is noted in the component datasheet. Here's the section from the datasheet for the Quadrature Decoder v3.0 (pg.17):

Great, thanks for the help! I have not used any of these PSoCs yet. I am thinking about migrating from pure Cortex-M microcontrollers to a PSoC, this looks a lot easier than having a separate MCU and FPGA interfaced together. I will look at the PSoC 6 TCPWMs.

As Rodolfo stated, used the fix function TCPWM....
