Hello all,

I've been a Cypress PSoC lover for so long, but the reality is, I have not a solid expertise programming these amaizing devices, currently I am using CY8KIT-062-WiFi-BT Pioneer Kit and I am working on a project to measure three phases current by using current transformers, code is not finished yet, I'll continue working on it. For now I would like to send current phases values (the actual measured current values aren't the right ones, I am gonna fix that later)  from PSoC 6 to ESP32-WROOM-32U over UART.

I took a look at the Documentation, Peripheral Driver Library, Low-Level API, txBuffer example, but it is not clear enough for me, first of all, the values that I want to send from PSoC 6 to ESP32 are float32 data type, I guess I should convert those values from float32 to char or unint32_t, if this convertion is necessary, does anyone please can explain to me how to do that?.

Secondly, does anyone please can share with me a PSoC 6 UART sending data code example?, I know there are different ways to send/receive data over UART, I would like to keep it as simpliest as possible. My code is attached, any comment or feedback will be highly  appreciate it.

Thanks,

Carlos.

Dear Carlos-san,

Your attachment has only the project file,

we need some more files to see the code and/or settings.

Please refer to the following discussion and retry uploading your project archive.

How to attach a project archive file to a question?

Meantime I wrote some samples for PSOC 6 using UART

I hope that they can be some hints. (I'm using CY8CKIT-062-BLE, though)

MCU Tester, a Swiss Army Knife for PSoC (CY8CKIT-062-BLE version)

Tiny Basic for PSoC (CY8CKIT-044 / TSoC / CY8CKIT-059 / CY8CKIT-062-BLE)

Best Regards,
