PSoC™ 6

I'm trying to program a PSOC6 using a miniprog4 using JTAG.  The only option available is SWD.  I've got two PSOC6 on my board, SWD is only for a single device.

Why is the JTAG option grayed out?  I've updated firmware.  The same issue appears using the Pioneer kit.

Thanks.

Hi,

Should the MiniProg3 program two PSOC 6 devices in a JTAG chain?  Can PSOC Creator debug over JTAG, or does that require SWD?

>>The answer is NO for both...Miniprog only supports SWD.

You need to use JLINK programmer/Debugger to debug using JTAG

Hello @SaMa_4682226

Miniprog4 does not support JTAG device. You can refer to the same in the CY8CKIT-005 MiniProg4 Program and Debug Kit Release Notes.

I'm using PSOC Creator 4.4.
I have two PSOC6 in the system.  This seems to require JTAG, not SWD.  What programmer/debugger would you recommend?
Thanks.
