Hello,

I am using a PSOC 6 prototyping board (CY8CPROTO-063-BLE) and I would like to add 5 extrenal LEDs and 2 switches. Can I use the pins P10[0], P10[1], P10[2], P10[3] , P10[4] for the LEDs and  P10[5], P10[6] for the switches?

Thank you

Hi,

Those pins (P10[0:6]) can be used as GPIO without any problem.

Note that general purpose GPIO can be assigned to almost any pin, but special functions(UART, SPI, I2C, TCPWM and so on) can only be assigned to dedicated pins.

Regards,
