Clicker 2 for PSoC 6 Technical Specs - the most powerful and only Clicker 2 with built-in wireless connectivity from Mikroe! Manual, Schematic, and Example Projects attached below also.

Clicker 2 for PSoC® 6 is a compact development kit with two mikroBUS™ sockets for click board connectivity, an ideal solution for rapid development of custom applications. It is equipped with the PSoC® 6, a dual-core 32-bit CY8C6347BZI-BLD53 Microcontroller Unit (MCU). This powerful device is a combination of ARM® Cortex™ based dual-core MCU with low-power flash technology and digital programmable logic, programmable analog resources, industry-leading CapSense® technology, and other standard communication and timing peripherals. One of the key features of this MCU is the support for the BLE 5 compliant wireless connectivity. Supported by the PSoC® Creator and equipped with the KitProg2 compatible onboard programmer, this board is the ultimate development platform for building portable and IoT applications in the entire range of Clicker 2 products.

Thousands of possibilities with click boards. With two mikroBUS™ sockets on clicker 2, you can take advantage of the huge potential of click™ boards. Blend different functionalities together and come up with new and original inventions. That’s just two clicks and your project is half-way done. Go ahead and play with a few ideas right away.

Power Management. Clicker 2 for PSoC® 6 is equipped with the LTC3586, a high-efficiency USB power manager, and battery charger, featuring the proprietary PowerPath™ and Bat-Track™ technologies, from Linear Technology. The LTC3586 power manager takes care of all the power options of the Clicker 2 for PSoC® 6, providing stable and low ripple voltage outputs for all parts of the board while ensuring proper Li-Po battery charging conditions. The power manager IC allows charging of the Li-Po battery while the Clicker 2 for PSoC® 6 board is connected to the USB port of the computer.

Programming. The programming can be done using the PSoC Creator IDE or stand-alone PSoC Programmer software application. The onboard KitProg2 compatible programmer is automatically detected by the software when Clicker 2 for PSoC board is connected, with no additional configuration steps required. PSoC Creator IDE and PSoC Programmer software applications are available for download from the Cypress official download page:  http://www.cypress.com/products/psoc-creator-integrated-design-environment-ide

Hello Matthew,

Will there be a new collaborations with MicroElektronika, perhaps for a new MCU card with PSoC 6 like the EasyPSoC MCU Card with PSoC CY8C27643 was for the old PSoC generation?

I am interested in the possibility of having PSoC 62 module(SOM) from one of your partners, because I noticed Cypress only produces PSoC 63 modules, which is for BLE applications.

However, we are creating product designs for industrial environment and honestly the BT Radio of PSoC 63 creates only an overhead for us in both compliance and engineering. We simply do not have use of a BLE radio in an industrial environment.

Please consider that PSoC 61 modules are also nowhere to be found, yet such solder-on-modules help integration efforts a lot.

ps: I am mentioning the 61-series at the end, because 61 & 62 are pin-to-pin compatible, having MCU card for PSoC 62 means instantly having MCU card for PSoC 61 as well.

Best,

Dimi
