I see the release schedule is 2019 Q3 here.
Latest update on emFile for PSoC 6?

Is this still on schedule? We need this function exactly in Q3 otherwise have to select other MCU.

Hi,

I am not sure about the emFile component support for the SD card in the near future. But the SD card support is already present in Modus Toolbox where PSoC 6 acts as a SD Host Controller (SDHC).

Hi,

I think SDHC is Secure Digital Host Controller. So different from SD Card

support.

No, SDHC is another form of communication where it uses the SD memory driver in sending SD commands to the SD card. I understand that emFile uses SPI protocol but this driver provides the user an easy method for accessing standard Host Controller Interface (HCI) registers and provides some simple functionality on top of the HCI for reading and writing data to an SD card, eMMc card or a SDIO device. Refer to this link for more details.
