I bought a CY8CPROTO-062-4343W, it has on board debugger KitProg3.

If I build our prototype board, what kinds of debugger will be used?  Segger debugger is very expensive.

Hi @Rabbit ,

One can use KitProg3 itself as  a debugger for his/her custom board. The only step that needs to be followed properly is to use the SWDIO pins to connect with KitProg3 externally. Please follow the hardware design guidelines for PSoC 6 as given here : https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-AN218241_PSoC_6_MCU_Hardware_Design_Considerations-Applicatio...

Also, are you going for mass production or just for your own application? Please add here in case of any further query.

Best Regards,

Aashita

Hello,

This will be mass production. We need pocket small size debugger for firmware engineer and production as well. U find this one from Element 14, but the user manual only mention PSoC 3 and PSoC 5, is it capable of debugging CYW4343W?

Hi @Rabbit ,

This is because KitProg3 i.e. our on board debugger is a PSoC 5LP device.
