I am attempting to follow the "Secure Boot" SDK user guide but continually run into the same problem. When attempting to setup the "CySecureTools" workspace i get the same error 'bash: cysecuretools: command not found' i get this even though i installed it and when i attempt to reinstall  cysecuretools i got the message stating command already satisfied.  This is all done on Windows.

Hello @pblemel,

May you kindly inform if you can use "python" and "pip" in your Windows Command prompt like this:

?

If no, please set your environment variable first.
If can, please try to follow
https://community.infineon.com/t5/Knowledge-Base-Articles/Using-Python-with-a-ModusToolbox-applicati...
or
https://pypi.org/project/cysecuretools/#installing-package
then inform if you still got issue or solved.

I look forward to hearing back from you. 🙂

Best regards,
Muhammad Nanda

Hello @pblemel,

Do you use ModusToolbox 3.2 on Windows ?
If yes, python "was removed from the Windows version of ModusToolbox™ 3.2", as mentioned here:
https://community.infineon.com/t5/Knowledge-Base-Articles/Using-Python-with-a-ModusToolbox-applicati...
Therefore, you may follow that KBA to install Python.

As starter, can you confirm your Python installation is success and ensure it is version Python 3.7.4 or later ?
It is because this guide mentioning that version of Python:
 https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-PSoC_64_Secure_MCU_Secure_Boot_SDK_User_Guide-Software-v08_00...

I look forward to hearing back from you. 🙂

Thank you and regards,
Muhammad Nanda
