Hi,

I am trying to generate a bootloadable file for my application. I added a post-build script that calls cymcuelftool.exe for this purpuse. I get the following error:

The application 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Cypress\PDL\3.0.1\tools\win\elf\cymcuelftool.exe' could not be started. Error: 'The specified executable is not a valid application for this OS platform.'

I am using PSoC Creator 4.2 on Windows 10.

Can someone help me with this?

The installation path stated in the error is good. I get this error in my project, in CE213903 - PSoC 6 MCU Basic Bootloaders or when running from command line.

I tried copying cymcuelftool.exe from a college's computer and replacing mine with it and it worked. It looks like an installation/update error.

Hello Antoine,

Where is PDL 3.0.1 installation path? Are you facing this issue in CE213903 - PSoC 6 MCU Basic Bootloaders ?

Best Regards,
