Hi

My PSoC can be detected by Windows when connected to the laptop.

I can also update the firmware using PSoC programmer, but the PSoC programmer and the Creator can not detect the PSoC to program it.

Yet the PSoC is running the last downloaded firmware.

Any clue what to do ?

I tried loading the bootloader, by pressing the MODE button before connectin the USB cable and updated the firmware couple of times, still PSoC shows "Not Conencted" and "Pass" in the same time as shown below

Hi @SaGa_4641021 ,

The port P5.0 and P5.1 of the board is connected to the PSoC 6 section over R52 and R53 as can be observed from the schematic

Snapping the programming section will cause you to loose this UART connection.

You can you try connecting the P5.0 (Rx) to P12.6 (Tx) on the KitProg programmer circuit and P5.1 (Tx) to P12.7 (Rx) using jumper wires to restore the UART functionality

Hi @AlenAn14

, it is CYBLE-416045-02

What I did so far is: I detached the programmer circuit from the PSoC eval kit, and used another programmer from another eval kit, and this worked.

So, the original programmer firmware can be updated by PSoC Programmer, and can be detected by Windows Device Manager, but it can not be detected by PSoC Creator or PSoC Programmer.

I am wondering does this mean the programmer circuit is damaged, or is there something I can do to restore its operation ?

Thanks

@AlenAn14

After detaching the Programming Circuit,  I can not use the UART on port-5 anymore. I have to use an external UART-USB module connected to pins 5.0 and 5.1.

Is there a way to retore the operation of UART-port5 on the Programmer Circuit ?
