CY8CPROTO-062, -62S3, and -063 are marked as prototyping boards for PSOC 6. Looking into the BOM lists attached, all kits are listing CY8C5868LTI-LP039, which is a PSOC 5 family member.  Are the BOM incorrect?

What  MCU kits can I order to get a PSOC 6 chip?

Dear Franz-san,

The CY8CMOD-062-4343W and 062S3-4343W  seems to come with  a 2MB flash device CY8C624ABZI-S2D44. Is this correct?

According to the schematic of cy8cmod-062-4343w_schematics The PSoC 6 on board is CY8C6247BZI-S2D44.

According to the schematic of cy8cmod-06s3-4343w the PSoC 6 on board is CY8C6245LQI-S3D72.

CY8CPROTO-063-BLE comes with CYBLE-416045-02 (1MB Flash)

https://www.cypress.com/documentation/datasheets/cyble-416045-02-ez-ble-creator-module

Based on this, the CY8CPROTO-062 prototyping kits seem to fit best for Cortex-M4 code debugging. Or am I missing something?

If you need 2MB flash,  among these three (CY8CPROTO-062-4343W, CY8CPROTO-063-BLE, CY8CPROTO-062S3-4343W), CY8CPROTO-062-4343W seems to be the only option.

Meantime, there is CY8CKIT-064B0S2-4343W which also has CYB0644ABZI-S2D44 (1856KB Flash))

Please refer to the Kits page for the whole list of EVBs.

Hi,

I think that the 5LP MCU (CY8C5868LTI-LP039?) is used to realize the KitProg,

which is the on board debugger/programmer.

And those kits also have a PSoC 6 (Module) on board, too.

CY8CPROTO-062-4343W: CY8CMOD-062-4343W

CY8CPROTO-062S3-4343W: Carrier_Module

CY8CPROTO-063-BLE: CYBLE-416045-02

If you want to get a PSoC 6 (not a module) on an EVB

CY8CKIT-062-BLE: CY8C6347BZI-BLD53

CY8CKIT-062-WiFi-BT: CY8C6247BZI-D54

and etc..

OK, understood, PSOC 5 is used as interface device.

I tried to identify MPN of the PSOC 6 mounted on each of these boards, but so far not successful.

Can you help here as well?

Hi,

After posting my first response, I edited the response to include the part number.

Could you try to re-load the page and check if you can see the MCU names?

Hi Moto,

Dear Moto,

Thanks for your hint, I indeed missed your 2nd edit.

Looking into the kits and their PSOC 6, I noticed that these are 1MB flash devices.

The CY8CMOD-062-4343W and 062S3-4343W  seems to come with  a 2MB flash device CY8C624ABZI-S2D44. Is this correct?

I couldn't identify the PSOC 6 used in the CY8CPROTO-063-BLE module. From the memory configuration it seems to be  a CY8C6347 derivative. Can you confirm this?

Based on this, the CY8CPROTO-062 prototyping kits seem to fit best for Cortex-M4 code debugging. Or am I missing something?
