Hi all,

This app note is dated "Dec 20, 2018" and it says: "Note: At the time of publication, UART-, I2C-, SPI-, and BLE-based DFU systems are supported. Other communication channels will be added in future SDK updates."

When is USB going to be supported? or is it now and I'm missing something?

Thanks

Hello, unfortunately we do not yet have an estimate for when this will be produced. We are currently working on requirements definitions for the next PDL revision.

For USB DFU, do you have any particular USB profile in mind? HID? mass storage? something else? This would be helpful for us in determining requirements.

Thanks,

Mark

The USB DFU codes are still under developing. It might be ready with next release of PSoC6 SDK.

Is there an estimated date for the new release? Thanks.

Hi Mark,

I didn't realized I had a choice for DFU but since that's the case...I'll go with mass storage so I can use it for something else as well. Do you have even a rough estimate on the time frame: this year, next?

Thanks.

Currently the requirements definitions for the next PDL revision are still under gathering, thus the it's hard to tell even a rough estimate.
