When setting my i2c speed to 400 khz it states its actually 500. I get a warning about my clock not being right for accuracy.  I am not sure how i should configure the clocks to hit 6.4MHz.  Any advice appreciated.

The i2c clock is derived from IMO. When you need 6.4MHz for i2c best would be to configure IMO to 64MHz.
