I'm trying to connect Vref(0.256V) to op_amp follower.
I receive a warning, that no hardware connection exists; however code compiles sucessfully.
What importance this warning is?

Show LessI want to create a file into main.c to save some SIgDeltaADC values.
I wrote the typical C code to create a file but this compiler seems not to identify
the pointer.
I get and error in the instruction:
FILE *p;
The compiler sais: undefined identifier.
The code is:
<device.h> <math.h> <stdio.h> main()int result,i;/* Place your initialization/startup code here (e.g. MyInst_Start()) */ /* CYGlobalIntEnable; */ /* Uncomment this line to enable global interrupts. */ "primeros.dat", "wb");for(i=0;i<10;i++)sizeof(int), 1, fp);/*for*/ /*main*/
Some idea to create a file?
#include
#include
void
{
FILE *fp;
ADCDelSig_Start();
fp = fopen(
{
ADCDelSig_StartConvert();
ADCDelSig_IsEndConversion(ADCDelSig_WAIT_FOR_RESULT );
result=ADCDelSig_GetResult8();
fwrite(&result,
}
fclose(fp);
}
/* [] END OF FILE */

Show LessHello. I'm a total noob when it comes to programming the PSoC. I am a junior in high school and a member of the schools Robotics Club. I was charged with the task of working with the PSoC. I came up with a really great idea, but I need to learn the basics first. So, can anyone help me?
Show LessI am a newbie with Cypress and I am trying to use the csdauto module in a CY820436A with a 3.3v supply at 24Mhz. (I also tried 12Mhz but that didn't help with my issue).
The issue: In assembly I call the csdauto_Start api and I can see the signal on my selected sensor pad. But the program does not continue past this point. To verify that it hangs, I programmed it to set a port pin high right after calling csdauto_Start and the pin never goes high. (I have proven that I can set this pin high so that is ruled out as the issue).
My Settings: In the chip window> csdauto properties window I left all properties at their default settings. Using the wizard I selected P01 as the modulator cap pin and I connected 1 switch to my sensor pin. Only 1 switch is activated in the wizard. I selected 0 for the slider option. Any ideas on why the program could hang during the csdauto_Start api?
Show LessI would like to implement a Generalized Impedance Converter (GIC)
with the PsOC, but all the amplifier available including the SC Block have their
inverting or non inverting input (one of them) tied to a internal reference or AGND.
How can I implement a simple Operational Amplifier?
Thanks a lot.
Show Lessi found document for USBUART in PSoC3 using below address
http://www.cypress.com/?rID=42703
and i designed like attatched file to test USBUART
it works perfectly first six seconds, but after six seconds the PSoC3 couldn't exit from "while(!USBUART_1_bTxIsReady()){}"
please give me some advice to solve this problem.
thank you.

hello
I have a question need your help, I use psoc3.
question is :
I made a signal acquisition system, using ADC and usb, but the result is bad.
So, I want to use the DMA and usb, but don't know how a configuration of both?
thank you!

In ADC_DelSig manual page 4 there is a note related to Fast Filter conversion type:
Note Care should be taken when switching signals between ADC conversions. Either
switch the input quickly with hardware control or Stop the ADC while switching the input
then restart the ADC after the new signal has been connected to the ADC. Failure to do
this may result in crosstalk between signals in the ADC results.
Does anyone know what Author had in mind saying "fast hardware switching"?

Show LessIs any special handling recommended for un programmed pins on the kit board ? How does PSOC creator handle un programmed pins ?
I have a project that has pins that are for possible future use. The pins will be connected via the board connector to a back plane that supplies power and I.O. connections including connections that have not been defined. Is it better to set the pins up or not define them at all ?
Thanks
Jim
