Tiny plug-in device which, when attached to a phone or tablet, can bring FM radio service to mobile devices. The plug-and-play FM receiver can be built using an FM receiver chip with a microcontroller or system on chip (SOC). Here is an article which speaks about designing such a device using PSoC http://www.eetimes.com/design/microwave-rf-design/4237982/How-to-design-a-digital-FM-radio?Ecosystem=analog-design
Show LessThis is a double post, in PSoC-Software nobody could answer my quest.
In PSoC Creator 2.0 it is possible to set a breakpoint that stops execution when a variable is accessed, read from or written to. The variable is given by its name and the debugger calculates its physical address (I presume).
When debugging a PSoC3 project I try to set a watchpoint to an address in xdata, but till now I failed with that.
Can anybody direct me how to set a watchpoint for a hex-address in xdata?

Hello everybody:
I want to use pins status to monitor my process' running status, not in debugging.
By using software program to set pin's logic status(high or low), I want to watch my program's running status!
The attached file describes the details!
Show LessOn PowerPSOC like CY8CLED04G01 an external clock can be connected to P1(4).
On most PSOC1 devices an external crystal + capacitors can be connected, but that needs 2 pins.
Is it possible to connect a external crystal (24 Mhz or whatever) directly to that pin? and how?
or do I need to make a seperate crystal + driver circuit to drive it?
Thanks in advance
Rens
Show Lesshi developers,
can anyone tell me how to route any internal reference of PSoC like AGND, REFHI, REFLO etc to the outside world. I also want to know whether it can be buffered when used for an external resistive network?
Show LessI keep on getting this error.
I am using a custom board layout with a CY8C3244LTI-123 chip. There was an error while execute any function (programm, checksum, read, verify, or erase.) : (PSoC Programmer received error (FAILED! Can not enter Debug Mode of PSoC3 device)).
PSoC programmer version is 3.12.5.868
I made next the custom board layout with another CY8C3244LTI-123 chip and tried enter Debug Mode, but unsuccessfully.
When I tried programming the device out of PSoC Creator, then device CY8C3244LTI-123 is visible, but no by connecting.
When I received these chips, the package contains the inscription "p/n:CY8C3244LTI-123-ND". What it means "ND".
I have the RX Address Configuration set to
Address#1 = 1
Address#2 = A
When I call the UART_SetTxsAddress1(2) the address does not change as I can only communicate on addresses 1 and A.
Is there something else I must do when calling UART_SetTxsAddress1? ie stop and start the UART?
Show LessI have seen this expression in the sample code usually used for variables which act as sentinels:
uint8 foo = 1u
what is the purpose of the u following the 1?
