PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
Dear all,
I am using the chip CY8C5568AXI-060 and the PSoC 5 development kit CY8CKIT-050.
I am currently building 2 timer in a single project.
However, when I built the attached source code, I got an error that the interrupt handler is undefined.
Can anyone please advise?
Thanks
Show LessGroup,
I'm new to the PSoC device and have a "simple" question.
I'm currently using the PSoC 3 development kit's example program "Voltage Display" where the value of a voltage, controlled by a pot is displayed on the LCD screen.
The C code for the project has a number of control statements relating to taking samples/averaging results/etc. Does that mean that when the code is placed into the PSoC chip, that the 8051 controller is also placed into the device to impliment the C Code ?
If so, it sure is a powerful device .

I need to read the data/ code stored on a CY7C63801-SXC enCoRe II Low Speed USB Peripheral Controller. I have a CY3210 Miniprog 1 Kit which I'm hoping to use to do this. Using the supplied hardware and the PSoC Programmer software I managed to read from the example device in the kit, a CY8C27443-24PXI but the pin names are different on the IC I want to connect to. I plan to power up the IC on its own then connect the ground, XRES, SCLK and SDATA to the right pins of the IC to upload the code.
This is the problem when uploading code on the CY8C27443-24PXI the PSoC connects:
XRES to (19) Xres
SCLK to (13) Xin/Sclk/P11
SDATA to (15) Xout/Sdata/P10
easy!
The CY7C63801-SXC doesn't have those pin names, so I'm not sure where to connect XRES and SDATA, we have:
TIO1/P0.6 (1) P1.6/MISO (16)
TIO0/P0.5 (2) P1.5/MOSI (15)
INT2/P0.4 (3) P1.4/SCLK (14)
INT1/P0.3 (4) P1.3/SSEL (13)
INT0/P0.2 (5) P1.2 (12)
P0.1 (6) Vcc (11)
P0.0 (7) P1.1/D-
Vss (8) P1.0/D+
I'm really new to this type of work and I'm hoping I can do this with this hardware. Incidentally I have permission to do this and I am not stealing or copying code.
Thank you.

Show LessWhen we use SPIS UM in CY8C20xx6 ,by default P1.3 is selected as the slave clock pin. There is an alternate option to use P1.0 as the slave clock by setting the Bit 2, SPICLK_ON_P10 in the register IO_CFG1.Along with doing this,we need to change the pin configuration in the pinout window of the designer. Two things need to be done here:
1)Set properties of P1.0:
Name: SPISSCLK (here, the UM is named as SPIS. If it's named as SPIS_1, the name should be set as SPIS_1SCLK)
Select: StdCPU
Drive: Open Drain Low
Interrupt: DisableInt
AnalogMuxBus: Normal
InitialValue: 1
2)change back the properties of P1.3 to its default values:
Name: Port_1_3
Select: StdCPU
Drive: High Z Analog
Interrupt: DisableInt
AnalogMuxBus: Normal
InitialValue: 0
Make sure to set the bit SPICLK_ON_P10 in the register IO_CFG1,before calling SPI_Start() API.
Show LessHi,
I'm new to PSoC world, trying to improve m'y customer PSoC1 CY8C29466 design.
The current dev is using a zero cross detection done with a comparator which triggers a GPIO interrupt on every half cycle (Change From Read) of the 292Hz input sinusoidal signal.
Such a routing is consumming one GPIO pin only for the purpose of linking the output of the comparator to tne input of the interrupt pin driver thru the out analog bus of the concerned column.
Would there be another way to generate the interrupt without using the corresponding pin as analog outputs are rare ressource?

Michel
Show LessHi all,
For this product http://www.cypress.com/?rID=39236..... I want to know whether i can modify the firmware ? if yes how ? what programmer i have to use ?? and the interface between the programmer and the PSoc Board? .... The photo given there is not clear . I am not able to see what are all the pin outs for that board.

Show LessHi,
Is there any built in time functions?
I need a function that returns the number of microseconds since the PSoC5 began running the current program...
Thanks,

Show LessI want to transfer a file form PC to Psoc board using USB communication... can this be done.... can anyone help by providing code related to this.....
Two Applications Engineers at Cypress - Dave Van Ess and Robert Murphy will be talking about driving a brushless DC motors. I thought this video was pretty cool. May be you guys should check it out, http://www.cypress.com/?rID=61487
