Hi guys,
Ive been playing around with my 2 button key fob and receiver, and i thought wouldnt it be great to interface it to my Psoc 1.
conected to my psoc are 2 ir beam breakers i made, they currently work with a simple bit of code. I was wanting to make a simple alarm. it shoud be like this. system on> wait till armed (button 1 of key fob) > armed> do alarm stuff (already done). button 2 of the fob should disarm the alarm whether the alarm was activated or just to disable it even if it wasnt activated.
so do i need to declare something like:
buttonarm==0;
buttondisarm==0;
while buttonarm is not pressed, dont do anything, if it is arm alarm activated
{
do alarm stuff, have this done to monitor ir beam breakers
if the alarm goes off for any reason and buttondisarm is pressed, disable alarm output
}
im 100% sure on how to implement the keyfob
any help is always greatly appreciated.
thanks
Show LessIn psoc 3,
I used a comparator to compare two voltage levels and displaying on LCD, which one is high. At the comparator output i added a digital output pin. By enabling the hardware connection option of the digital output pin, i am able to put on and off an LED with respect to input voltage levels of the comparator.
when i try to read the status of the digital output pin (with hardware connection disabled) in my software, iam getting a wrong result. Pl suggest me how to read the status of the comparator output in software.
thanks

Show LessHi, I am experimenting with using the PSoC 3 in low power modes and I have gotten some unexpected results. When I put the device in hibernate mode and i meter the current, I am getting about 560 uA, though the datasheet says this should be only about 200 nA.
I am using the CY8CKIT-030 PSoC® 3 Development Kit and I disabled the potentiometer and removed the LCD.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can lower this current? I would at least like to be on the same order of magnitude as the datasheet.
Thanks in advance.
Show LessHi
I use a timer and I want to change the clock source from VC2 to VC3 during program execution. Is it possible to change the clock source in the program? If so, how? Thank you for your response
Show LessAnyone know what these "special product terms" are and how I can best take advantage of them?
hello, i wrote a verilog program and i sucessfully build it in PSoC creator tool , but now i am not getting how to see the outputs.Please give some solutions regarding my problem....Thanking you in advance 🙂
Show Less Hi everybody!!
actually i´m working to control a servo motor i read that the frecuency is 20 hz and the duty cycle is 1,1.5 and 2 ms
i´m using pwm16:
parameter pwm16
clock = 1,000,000
period= 49,999
duty cycle = 999-> 1ms->0°
1499-> 1.5ms -> 90°
1999 -> 2ms -> 180°
but the servo doesn´t work correctly don´t go to the correctly position and keeps vibrating and i don´t understand why,so if someone help me i´m really be glateful
i put my code if someone can check it
Hello everybody,
I have a problem activating the proximity in my PSoC3 - CY8C3245LTI-163.
I have created the widgets: 6 buttons and 1 proximity sensor. Proximity is connected to pin64 - P2[2] (68pin package).
Six buttons are working properly without putting anything in my main code, proximity not. I have connected the tuner via EZI2C module and I can see that buttons graphics are alive with noise and sense touches, proximity are perfectly flat and zero.
Do I miss something?
Thanks
Nicola
