PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
I've an ICE CUBE connected to the CY3274 (CPU: CY8CPLC20) through the RJ45 connector.
Unfortunately I'm finding the debugger very unstable.
On one machine (running Windows XP inside a virtual machine), PSoC Designer simply doesn't go beyond the download: after I download the image to the board, it says "Preparing to run..." and stays like that forever.
I tried on another machine (Windows 7) and I got something better here. I got the PC to stop at the:
jmp __Start
after downloading the image.
Unfortunately the debugger appear to jump back to that location (0x0000) once in a while...
Only few times after several resets I managed the PC to hit one of my breakpoint (that were simply few lines after main), but any attempt to do a step, managed to go back to 0x0000.
Any idea why? Any suggestions?
Note:
- I'm using PSoC Designer 5.3 with all the tools freshly installed (in this new Windows 7 machine).
- I'm not using watchdog, just a simple project created from scratch from PSoC Designer 7
Any help/idea is appreciated!

Show LessHi ,
I want to use UART user module.
I want to send 4 bytes of data from PC to PSOC.
PSOC when receive should send 2 bytes of data back.
I will use a 4 byte array for rx buffer and 2 byte array for tx buffer.
When 4 bytes data is received interrupt should occur.
How can i implement it

Show LessI have psoc 3 cy8ckit001development kit. I have installed psoc creator version 2. After building the project, when i try to debug, the select target device window does not display any device at all even though i have connected it through USB. Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong? I have selected the correct device in the device selector window which is cy8c3866axi-040. Please help.
Show LessHello!
How to generate an interrupt from comparator's output without using any DigBuf module? Can I get two interrupts using the same transition before & after routing to a DigBuf ? I read related stuff on cypress documentation but wasn't able to figure out anything conclusive.
I did include pragma interrupt_handler in the beginning. I tried incorporating ljmp _Comp1 (taking Comp1 as the name) in boot.tpl file & then to begin with, in my ISR, which I'm coding in C, I tried to change an LED's status everytime an interrupt occurs but couldn't succeed. Tell me the correct sequence and/or example code for the same.
Thanks a lot.
Hi,
I am using CY8C20346A, I want to know the minimal time width for a gpio input pulse (high-low-high) to create a GPIO interrupt. IOINT==1.
I can not find this info in datasheet.
Thanks.

Show LessHi,
I am using CY8C20346A, to save power, M8C standby is used, when a gpio interrupt come, M8C will be wakeup after for a while. in TRM "Wakeup Sequence" in page83, there are T0, T1, T2, T3, T4 points.
After wakeup, I need to use core/GPIO/I2C slave/capsence/timer0 modules, can I start working after T0 or need to wait until T4?
Thanks.
BR.
