Can anyone help me to configure a pin as digital output in PSoC 5.4? I need to set up the register. When I first run the program, the output must be "1" and then when I press a key it goes to "0". I've tried to set up the pin using the chip editor, but its not working properly.
Show LessHello all,
I am looking for a good reference/sample for Alternate Active mode in either PSoC3 or PSoC5LP, such as " Using Sleep and Hibernate modes in PSoC® 3 – AN66083" for Sleep mode. Anybody came across such do post the link here.
Thaks in advance.

Show LessThe CAN Controller customizer does not allow selecting more than one mailbox IRQ in a linked group. Does that mean that you cannot trigger an IRQ for each received message that is received by the linked group of mailboxes? What would happen if I unlinked them and manually set the configurations exactly the same? Would this cause some conflict when a message comes in that matches the filters of multiple mailboxes?
Show LessI would like to suggest a feature that would allow multiple configurations to be set up through the customizer. In an automotive CAN application, it is required to try 2 different baud rates and 11 bit and 29 bit ID format. It is difficult to work with the CAN_RX_CFG and CAN_TX_CFG structs to reinitialize the CAN mailboxes with different values for switching between the 11 and 29 bit ID formats.
Show LessHi all,
At the moment I am trying to provide a negative value to a comparator positive input pin, so the comparator output will be triggered high once a negative voltage goes lower than this defined threshold.
Unfortunatelly it looks like the PSoC does not accept a negative signal. I have checked this with scope and anything that goes below 0 Volts just disappears from the input signal.
Am I doing somethign wrong or this is, in fact, the way it is?
Thanks.
Show LessHi guys,
I am using an adc and USBFS (not USBUART) in a project. The adc output is being displayed on the lcd and simultaneously also being loaded into the endpoint of usb. I have configured usbfs for bulk transfer with endpoint 1 set for IN mode.
However on execution, the transfer is not taking place and the program gets stuck at this command:
while(USBFS_GetEPState(IN_EP)!=USBFS_IN_BUFFER_EMPTY);
I have attached my project file under the folder name "proj3".
I would be grateful for any suggestions quickly.
Show LessHello,
Does the Enable Vref/Vssa option in the ADC's Common tab allow us to connect a variable reference in PSoC schematic (rather than allocating a special pin to acquire an external Vref?
Show LessPSoC3/5 has been fine, although would use more digital blocks if it had them.
For next upgrade of our product we're likely to bump the USB for Bluetooth.
A generic search on Cypress pulled up
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/cypress-qualifies-bluetooth-low-energy-120000249.html
Where in particular, "Cypress expects to sample its first integrated BLE device in the first quarter of 2014."
Sort of surprised by now Cypress doesn't give some prelimary info, sure would be interested.
Would be needed by third quarter.
