PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
Hi there,
I have connected device with Psoc5 device. I am not sure how can I read data from it. So , basically I send AT commands from Host (Psoc5 device ) to client device.
I am able to test client device through serial term from PC and it is working fine, now I have connected that to Psoc5. I am able to send the data, now I am not sure how could I read response back ?
I do send as follow
UART_PutString("AT");
device will give you now Ok response, so not sure hoe could I read it ?
Your help would be great !!
Thanks
Show LessHave somebody experience how to create a board for PSOC 5 LP?
Below you can find my own one , unfortunately I get unwanted noises in ADC.
Could somebody say what is the problem?
Thank you for your time.
I'm doing some research that requires a lot of comparators. Currently, for proof of concept, I'm using LM319's because their open collector outputs allow me to use any output voltage I want if the comparator is "high" and they allow me to tie their "ground" to different voltages as long as it is higher than Vsss so the output when the comparator is "low" is also configurable.
The problem is that I need a heck of a lot of them and I'm looking for configurable solutions. So far the Cypress PSoC 3 looks like a candidate but I need to know more about them (maybe the 4 or 5 would be better, or some other product entirely). First, how many comparators can you get from one of the configurable analog blocks? I couldn't find much detail on the internals of the analog blocks. Second, how flexible are the comparators themselves? From reading the datasheet for the COMP module, it looks like high=Vdd and low=Vss. Is there any way to manipulate this so that the lows and highs are equal to some other intermediate voltage references?
Thanks much for any help!
Show LessHi.
I would like to implement a RTC that doesn`t lose the time data after a power failure. I am thinking to use a 5V battery. How do I have to do the connections? Do I have to use de Boost? Which elements do I need?
Thanks
Show LessGood Day!
Is it possible to configure the resolution of the internal ADC (SAR)? Based on the API, the output of the ADC is placed into a 16 bit signed int, but it is unclear what the actual resolution of this ADC is. Is it possible to get any insight into this and is it possible to specify the resolution - to say 10 or 12 bits?
Thank you!
Kyle

can i interface cy8c 4000 pioneer kit with PSoC 5lp kit for using the proximity sensor in a project?
Hi,
I want to multiply two signals using a mixer. But i want to give clock a sign signal. I tried to do that but it shows an error signal attached with this message.
Please guide me how i can do this.
Looking forward for your reply

Show LessHi,
I am building a device that works like a phonograph. I am using a piezo disc as a microphone and a pcos3 kit for the amplifying, filtering and processing . But I a getting a terrible sudden noise at the output of the OpAmp for some seconds.
Maybe somebody knows the reason?
I attached the amplifier circuit.
THANKS!
