PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
Hi everyone,
I have implemented a USBUART on my CY8CKIT-059 Kit everything works properly but I would change the parity and the stop bit of trasmission
Could someone tell me where I can set the UART's parameters?
Thanks
Show LessHello Everyone,
I am using psoc 3 to read the input data from the Counter machine which is configured(counter machine) to 19200 baud rate so when i give the counter input directly to the capacitor in order to change the input from alternate signals in to the steady state signal znd then to the PSOC 3 to gpio pins and after then when i see the output from the uart terminal it is not even able to read the data properly but the same configuration actually working fine for the 1200-9600 baud rates so i don't able to understand what is going wrong with the 19200 baud rate so i request somebody could propose me some other alternative logic or ideas to test the 19200 baud rate input any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you
prabhu
Show LessI add an EEPROM to my project which's cpu is CY8C5568AXI-060, when compiling the project, there is a mistake of undefined reference to `EEPROM_Start' , why?
Show LessI've downloaded Application Note AN2246 zip file (containing the project code) and have loaded this up in PScC Designer 5.4.
(AN2246 is for a high-frequency, high resolution PWM.)
PScC Designer loads the project and I can see the code in main.c, however the chip view (the one where you can see the module placement) has all digital and analogue blocks empty, and no interconnect routing is shown. The workspace explorer shows that 5 user modules are placed.
Also, there used to be a window where you could click on a placed user module, and this window would then show various parameters that you could set for the module. This window just says "loadable configuration: PRSPWM (where PRSPWM is related to the project title). I can't see any of the parameters.
Finally, it is difficult to find out what chip the project has been written for. I can see it by clicking on the 'pinout' view for the project in the workspace explorer, but I would have thought something somewhere in the project (like a "setting") would specify this.
Probably just that I'm new to PSoC - but how can I get to see what I would consider to be 'standard' project information?
Show LessGreetings,
Why does the UART Transmission of 32bit INT using sprintf() takes lesser time than to transfer 8 bit using sprintf().
Is there any other faster way to transfer integer of 32bit accept WriteTxData() API?
Thanks in advance
Show LessI'm trying to add a bootloader to my project. I get the following error:
"The Power on Reset (POR) setting for each Port must match between the Bootloadable and corresponding Bootloader projects. Port '12' has values 'Pulled Down' and 'Hi-Z Analog Unbuffered' between the projects respectively. Edit the POR setting for the given port in one project so that it matches the other."
How do I change the POR setting for the given port?
Show LessHi,
I try to build thr xcp driver on psoc 3.3 and we got build error[Please refer attachment], "arm -none -eabi-gcc.exe". Could you please give some suggestion resolve this issue.
Show LessHello,
I want to dig into the USB interface. The goal is to have a high data rate interface with easy host driver implementation.
I'm not sure if I should use HID class or 'generic' interrupt endpoint implementation.
For the HID class:
If I understand HID class correctly, the specification only allows one IN and one optional OUT endpoint. Is this correct?
So the speed is limited to 64kB per HID. Now, I'm struggling with IAD (interface association descriptor). The IAD allows to collect endpoints into a single device. Is this also allowed for HID class ? So I could e.g. have a single HID with 4/4 IN/OUT endpoints on a PSoC 5LP? The benefit is that HID is supported on all main OS.
For the 'generic' interrupt endpoints:
If the above is not allowed by HID class, is it possible to use 4/4 interrupt IN/OUT endpoints without writing a custom host driver? From the SuiteUSB documentation, I couldn't get the information if this is supported. I assume that only a correct INF file is neccessary, is this true? If so, is there something like a INF file generator or at least a good manual how to do it?

Ralf
Show LessHi ,
I want to display serial data using hyper terminal for that we using "CE95389 - UART Transmit with PSoC 3/4/5LP" we take this code as cypress website. We set baud rate as 57600 but we didi not receice any data from hyperterminal . Could you please suggest how to receive the data on hyper terminal. I am waiting for your response.
