PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
Hi Community,
i whould like to implement a self check, ensuring our PSoC5 is read protected (in case it is unprotected i want to flash all LEDs, so it will be noticed), so it will not get shipped unprotected.
For this i need to read the protection status in firmware. After reading the Datasheet and the TRM, sadly i still have no clue how to implement this. Is there a memory location where i can read the protection status?
Best regards,
Matthias
p.s. my other question got locked before i had the possibility to say "thank you!", so i used the thumbs-up function to give a litte feedback at least.

The installation wizard starts when I tried installing "CY8CKIT050BSetupOnlyPackage", but I am getting a message box telling "Prerequisite are missing for PSoC 5LP Development kit". When I clicked "Yes" to download the prerequisites, it takes me to the webpage where I can find the required downloads. Can you please points me to the required files for me to install the prerequisites for CY8CKIT-050B Kit.
Show LessHello everyone
I've recently started working with psoc and I'm trying to figure out what kind of lcds are suitable for use with the microcontroller's built-in Character LCD (CharLCD)
I understood that there is probably support for monitors that work in parallel but not serial communication, but I couldn't figure out why.
I would be happy if you could help with this, and if someone could give examples of screens that are suitable for use and supported by CharLCD, I would be happy
Many thanks in advance
Attachment is my project.
I want to sample 26 channels and send these data to PC by USBFS.
Now the data rate in Streamer.exe is 700KByte/s. (about 8.5Mbps in wireshark. )
Show LessI am using an FTDI FT230XS-R connected to a PSoC3 CY8C3246PVI-147.
The EEPROM of the FTDI is programmed via the FT-Prog software, but I would like to be able to read the data entered in its EEPROM via the C code on the PSoC3.
Any suggestions on this?
Thank you
Hello everyone
I'm trying to upload a code to CY8c5668AXI-LP010 and I get an error:
what could be the problem? I checked the connections of the mini prog and the board are connected in the required way.
thanks
Show LessHello @ All,
I ask for your help. I can't get a clean push-pull solution (e.g. 2 blocks from TCPWM). Chip CY8C4245 PSoC Creator 4.x. I've looked at all the examples and docs but haven't found a solution.
Does anyone have a project or can anyone help me?
Show LessSo, I have wrote this basic program for data to be seen in APP(MIT) using hc05 module. I cant find the problem can you help me with this.
scrolling graph in app's aia file.

I am working with a CY8C5868AXI-LP032 and need to implement a UART bootloader. I was able to set up a bootloader project with a bootloader block and a UART block and flash it to my device, then set up the bootloadable block in my application and use the windows based Bootloader Host tool to flash the application to my device via UART. All of that is working without any problem.
I now need to send the application image to my bootloader via an embedded host. Where can I find information about the protocol used by the UART bootloader IP block? I need to know what commands to send to flash and verify the image to the device.
Alternately, is there an example I can reference for how to take a .cyacd file and send it to a bootloader over UART, so that I can replicate what the Bootloader Host utility is doing in my embedded system?
Show LessHi,
We performed a circuit setup with the processor we have (CY8C5867LTI-LP028). There are components TIA, DVDAC, VDAC, SAR ADC, OPAMP(3 pieces) and UART in the circuit. When we run it in "Release" mode, the processor constantly resets itself. When we look at the "Debug" mode, after opening TIA, DVDAC, VDAC, OPAMP(3 pieces) and UART, a debug error is given when opening DelSig ADC. How can I run the processor correctly?
Note: The processor is working properly when DelSig ADC is turned off. I can use DelSig ADC when used alone.
Best wishes.
