Hello,
I am trying to use the PSoC 5lp as a fast timer. I have a start pulse and a stop pulse, I am able to acquire correctly these pulses but I am not sure about the minimum delay that I can measure between them. I run the processor at 50MHz and I can go down to 1us without any problem, can I reduce further that delay ? Which is the limit of the PSoC 5lp ?
Thank you
Lodovico

Hello Lodovico,
The device can work up to 80 MHz.But the maximum input frequency you can give to PSoC5LP GPIO pin is 33MHz.
This will be your limit as you can provide higher frequency clock source as the clock input to the timer.
Best Regards,
VRS
