Shortage of CY8C5868AXI-LP035. Any alternative that is available

Hi,

I have been looking for PSoC 5 par number CY8C5868AXI-LP035 for months now. It is not available anywhere.

Can someone help me find its stock (around 200 pcs) or its replacement.

It is unfortunate that due to the general semiconductor shortage, many parts are not readily available and on allocation, including CY8C5868AXI-LP035. Current Published Lead Time (PLT) for this product is 52weeks.

All the other MPN's mentioned below are also under shortage which are alternative to CY8C5868AXI-LP035.

These are all the MPN of  PSoC 5LP from CY8C58LP family :-

CY8C5888AXI-LP096  (100-TQFP Package)

CY8C5888AXQ-LP096  (100-TQFP Package)

CY8C5888FNI-LP210  (99-WLCSP Package)

CY8C5868AXI-LP032  (100-TQFN Package and this device not have CAN  2.0 feature) 

These are all the MPN of  PSoC 5LP from CY8C56LP family which doesn't have 1x20-bit Del-Sig ADC :-

CY8C5668AXI-LP013  (100-TQFP Package)

CY8C5688AXI-LP099  (100-TQFP Package)

CY8C5688FNI-LP211 (99-WLCSP Package)

CY8C5668AXI-LP034  (100-TQFN Package and this device not provide 2.0 feature)

I got this information from Customer Marketing team. Please let us know if you are looking for any device in the PSoC 5 family other than the ones mentioned above so that I will check the availability of them.

If necessary, please contact your local Sales/distributor and request to expedite the order and identify the order for the end customer specifically so we can prioritize customer-real-demand vs stocking

Maybe an idea that worked for me : You can still buy some kits such as CY8CKIT-147 or CY8CKIT-043. Besides some PSOC4 processor it also has a CY8C5868LTI-LP039 on the PCB to act as programmer. I desoldered them and placed them on by own board. Although I think you need another package, my design was based on exact the CY8C5868LTI-LP039.

Might work for you, hoping for a better solution soon.

Edit : CY8CKIT-041-40xx also includes the same PSOC5lp (please doublecheck) and digikey has 508 on stock; price 20,40 for one
