I can connect a vref or a vdac output to an analog mux. However, it appears that I can only connect a gpio pin to an ADC_SAR_Seg component. The device is a 5lp.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a limitation of the ADC_SAR_Seg component?
Thanks
Glenn Edgar

Page 1 of the datasheet states:
Note Only GPIOs can be connected to the channel inputs. The actual maximum number of input channels depends on the number of routable analog GPIOs available on a specific PSoC part and package.

I haven't understood this reason.
I want to make a new system design using "1 x ADC_SAR_Seq" and "4 x PGA".
"4 x PGA" inputs are for 4 external sensors.
But, Component Datasheet (ADC_SAR_Seq 2.10) says "Note - Only GPIOs can be connected to the channel inputs".
Anyone teach me this reason?
I'd like to connect PGAs outputs to ADCs inputs.
