How can I acheive a software write into a DBB?

I need to OR an input signal from a IO pin with a software write. I can use the OR function in the row_output routing, but how can I make a software write into the DBB?

The simplest way seems to be to put in a DigBuf, tie its input high and then stop and start it from the software.

Any other suggestions?
