Hello,

Can someone tell me where to find a document describing what the markings mean on the top of a PSoC3 microcontroller?  The specific part is CY8C3866LTI-030.

Thanks,

Cyrus

Other marking include a 4 digit date code, 2 digit year, 2 digit week.
Next line is CYP (for Cypress obviously) then 6 digit assembly lot code.
Last line is 3 characters, e.g., PHI for Philippines, TWN for Taiwan.
The kit may be gone, but the chip is still supported in Creator, I proved to myself by building a project with the chip. There may be no stock, but the part number is still valid.

Hi Cyrus,

The markings on the device are the MPN and internal manufacturing information. For information regarding the device MPN, you can check page 124 of the datasheet.

Thanks and Regards,

I'm not sure why you are asking this and my answer might be complete offtopic

I remember the CY8CKIT-007 (Precision Voltmeter) mounted with a evaluation version CY8C3866LTI-030 (marked "ES2" on package). Unfortunately this is not supported anymore by PSOC Creator and the examples cannot be used anymore. Kit is retired.
