We have purchased the above IC from one of the open source as there were huge leadtime.

The IC snapshot is attached.

The IC part number/Body mark is CY8C3246AXI - 138 but in PsOC programmer it detects as CY8C3246AXI - 131. So we are unable to load the hex file of the program.

Can you help us?

Hi @madhu ,

Infineon does not provide any assistance in the validation or testing of products not sourced from Infineon directly or one of Infineon’s authorized distributors.

Based from the below top marking, this is not valid Cypress/ IFX part.

Regards,

Alakananda

Hi,

As Alakananda-san said, by presenting an image of the company and device you purchased, you may be able to find out something from the lot number or date code.

As a way to use that part ...

The difference between CY8C3246AXI-131 and CY8C3246AXI-138 is the presence or absence of USB FS.

CY8C3246AXI-131 : not support USB FS

CY8C3246AXI-138 : support USB FS

If you are not using the USB FS component, you should be able to write by following the steps below:

1. Open project

2. Project menu => Device selector

3. Change CY8C3246AXI-138 to CY8C3246AXI-131

4. Rebuild

5. Write the HEX file of the corresponding folder with PSoC Programmer

I'm sorry but I can't understand the difference between the part number printed on the surface of the device and the part number recognized by the PSoC Programmer.

I think that the problem needs to be confirmed with the company that purchased it.
