Would you recommend a Cypress MCU (with a specific part number)
that can be used for Fan motor controller with
Hall sensor feedback and the needed specs below?

Specification:
=pin support:
-L1                 : Exciter coil
-L2                 : Exciter coil
-VDD, GND : Hall sensor Power
-FG                : Hall sensor Power output

=shall work along with:
-Fan motor performance (rpm): 10000 RPM
-Power supply voltage (V) : AC 120V (DC 169V)

This Fan motor control system is for the Temperature control unit.

Hello @benkim

On the landing page of the CY8CKIT-037 you would notice that there are a certain set of code examples of this kit. The code examples include both Sensored and Sensorless BLDC Motor Control. CY8CKIT-037 PSoC® 4 Motor Control Evaluation Kit Guide provides detailed information about each of the available code examples.

The Code examples use the CY8C4245AXI-483 device, therefore I guess you can use the same device for your application. The datasheet of the device can be found on this page: CY8C4245AXI-483

Cypress also has an Evaluation board: CY8CKIT-042 that comes with this device. You can use this for initial testing.

Best Regards
Ekta

Hello Ekta,  I saw the kit description and I don't see the Cypress MCU included to the BOM.

Please provide Cypress MCU part number with the datasheet.

1. Part number : clear Cypress microcontroller part number that has pin support of:
  -L1                 : Exciter coil
  -L2                 : Exciter coil
-VDD, GND : Hall sensor Power
-FG                : Hall sensor Power output

2.  datasheet to the part.

CY8C4245AXI-483 is a bit beyond the spec. It costs almost $2 dbp, twice the price of the target replacement.

Currently the customer is using infineon's XMC1302-T038X0200

XMC1300 Data Sheet (infineon.com)

Could you recommend what can be equivalent from Cypress MCU from Infineon's XMC1302-T038X0200?
