Hi Guys

Not really sure what is going on with my older Eval board. It was working fine a few weeks ago, on power up the LCD would display PSoC Eval USB 1 etc.

I have been trying to get the capsense demo project to work, but no luck, so I have erased the user flash via PSoC programmer and now when I power on the board the LCD just shows 16 blocks on the top line.

Is this normal?

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated

This is quite normal. The initially displayed text was made with a program which you erased. No program - no text on LCD.

Write a "Hello World" program yourself...   😉

Hi Bob

Thanks for responding, I figured it might be something like that, just wasn't sure.

I managed to get capsense and a few of the other examples running, so I can stop worrying that I have fried my eval board 🙂
