Hi,

You can download schematic of CY8CKIT-145-40XX from

=== CY8CKIT-145-40XX page ===

https://www.cypress.com/documentation/development-kitsboards/cy8ckit-145-40xx-psoc-4000s-capsense-pr...

=== schematic ==

https://www.cypress.com/file/443816/download

Then you can check which pin is not connected to particular use.

Yes, it is a time consuming task...

WARNING: Spoiler below

pin_list_image.JPG

From what I tried following pins seem to be available

P1_7, P2_7, P3_7, P4_0, P1_0, P1_1, P1_2

Please DIY next time 😉

(added) OOPS!

If you read CY8CKIT-145-40XX_PROTOTYPING_KIG_GUIDE

In the page 35 and page 36, almost same table is available.

https://www.cypress.com/file/325536/download

BTW, to avoid this I often remove these shield wings so that I can use most of the pins.

As far as I  solder pin sockets they can be connected using jumper wires.

Hi LaKa_4300241

Can you share the picture of the test setup and the position in the PCB where touching shield results in a touch being registered?

Best regards

Hari

Hi LaKa_4300241

By the test setup, I meant the physical sensor connection in the board and the location of the shield hatch. Please send a photograph of the sensors. The one shared now is the schematic from the top design and pin assignment.

A picture of the real "sensor" and the method of implementation would be helpful.

Best regards

Hari
