Hi
Newby here. I am using a PSoc4200 (CY84245AXI-483). I have an ADC setup with a 5v reference (VDDA). I can only get 11 bits of resolution out of the ADC and I cannot seem to find anything in the datasheet to suggest that I cannot get 12 bits. What am I doing wrong or do I only get 11 bits from a 12bit ADC.
Show LessHi,
I tested the OTA function by using the example "Day025_BLE_Over_The_Air_Update" in the "100_Projects_in_100_Days" on the CY8CKIT-042-BLE, and I followed the steps in the included PDF document to build this example project in PSOC Creator 3.3.
But I got an error message : "EVT_AUTH_FAILED: 5",
the failed reason #5 is "CYBLE_GAP_AUTH_ERROR_PAIRING_NOT_SUPPORTED",
How can I fix this error ?
Thanks!!

Show LessI'm building/exploring the I2C_BLE_bridge_Client project and PSoC 3.3 keeps saying: "An error occurred while building the code outline for..... \main.c
I know the feature used to work but seems to have stoped. Not sure if I've done something on my end or is there was an update that might have broken this. Thoughts?
Show LessWhile this is very much not to BLE spec, I was curious if it's possible on the PSOC4 BLE to manually TX and RX on the non-advertising channels (0-36) - treating them like pseudo advertising channels.
Thanks, and sorry for the slightly "can I break it this way?" question.
Show LessHello,
is there any hope of getting the Headset Profile added to the PSoC's BLE recognized profile list? Seen here.
I would like to design a PSoC 4 BLE project that can connect to existing bluetooth headsets or earbuds, in order to play a short, prerecorded tune.
Or perhaps there is way to build a custom profile to match the HSP specs?
Are there any example of doing something similar to this?
I am a novice at using BLE, so I am worried about getting a custom profile to work with existing products
Thank you for any advice.
Show LessHello I am new to Cypress and just ordered the PSoC 4 BLE Pioneer kit and just realized I may need 3 SPI ports. Looking through the datasheet I see there are 2 independent SPI blocks. I guess my question is is it possible to connect the 3rd SPI anyway such as through a mux?
Thanks in advance for the responses,

Show LessHello,
The kit has the PSoC 5LP as a programmer and debugger. User guide tells about building projects for PSoC 5LP and how to restore the original functionality of PSoC 5LP. This is very nice.
The interesting part is, if I have the PSoC 5LP(same part as that on kit) and build a board with the schematics provided, I can build my own programmer for PSoC 4. We can then use this programmer to program and debug any PSoC!!! I guess!!!
Show LessI am currently constructing a Voltage Protective Relay design on my PSoC 4 BLE 4200 device. The issue is that I am having difficulty to create a custom Bluetooth profile. The thing I am trying to do now is implement Bluetooth controlled threshold voltage range for my design; more specifically, i am trying to use the CySmart for IOS devices, to adjust some variables' value inside my program. So i am wondering that is this approachable? if so, could you please provide me some related examples?
Show LessI'm working to modify the Central/Peripheral code from 100 Project-100 Days, and would like to add a Pin Input/another button. So, I'm trying to figure out how to use the same software debouncing method, interrupt, and DeepSleep functions, yet have each button change the alert variable a different way. One button will hop between Mild- and Full-Alert, while the second button will hop between No Alert and the last alert prior to button 2 was pressed, like a quick bypass. I have attached the Central code, and so far I've gotten it to connect to the peripheral, but no button functionality afterward. Any insight would be appreciated, and since the button reads is the only thing needed, I wouldn't be opposed to using Debounce either, if necessary.
