PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
Hello everyone!
I am a beginner in this field of engineering, i want to make a BLE enabled luxmeter (instrument that measures light) using CYPRESS PSoC 4 BLE. Can someone please tell how can i proceed to use the analog value from a photo sensor and broadcast it using Cypress BLE module.
I would really appreciate if someone is able to provide any help in this direction.
Thanks in advance 🙂
Show LessHi All
I am working in a direction to build a library project in Creator. I have placed a default UART SCB and a Timer component in my schematic of the library project. I want to configure ISR handlers for both. But I do not know how to declare those ISR handlers because the standard "CY_PROTO_ISR (HandlerName);" format gives an error during compilation. Is there any method to declare and define ISR Handlers in a library project?
Thanks in advance.

Shaunak
Show LessHello,
I'm working on PSoC 4 Ble. I created a project using PSoC creator 3.3. I have some values & want to store them on SD card Card but i'm not able to store them. I'm attaching my project please review it & give me suggestions to complete it.
Show LessHi Everyone,
I am starting to develop a communication system by Bluetooth between the PSoC 042 BLE and a Java application in my pc. I already programmed an app to android and another one to pc ( both programmed in Java) to communicate to each other, and It worked very well. But I got stuck at developing Bluetooth in C/C++ language for PSoC. I already ran the "find me" example and tried It with my tablet and pc( with dongle only) and It worked great. But as soon as I want to develop my own applications, I need to comprehend the pc client side.
My doubts:
- For bluetooth protocols It is necessary an address( similar to URL) defined by server ( in my case I want the PSoC to be). Where can I configure It?
- What is the default procedure to an external device connect as client to PSoC 4 BLE ( as a server)?
- What is the difference between using the red little shield and the black little shield that comes with the PSoC BLE 042?
- There is some example in Java that I can see to understand the default procedure?
Show LessBecause PSOC4 does not have dma. So it is confuse to write I2S?
1, firstly how can i control the write speed?
2, secondely I just want to write right channel, how to realize it?
Show LessSee the attached project.
I am trying to read 512 bytes of UART data into a buffer with DMA. The setup works fine without the DMA - manually transferring the data into the buffer using the 'BREAK' as a signal for a packet start, but the DMA does not transfer any data into the buffer.
Any ideas of what I did wrong? This is my first DMA project, any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Tom
In my custom design, I use OpAmp as a differential amplifier. Attachments are my circuit and my psoc4 project. When I compile the project, there is one warning notice in the tag of "Notice List", "apr.M0042:Bonded pin(s) "P2[3]" are not used in your current design but have been connected in order to route the design". Do I use this component correctly? How can I use OpAmp in the Topdesign.cysch?
Show LessHello,
I'm working on PSoC 4 BLE. I went through SD Card project in 100 projects in 100 days. I selected the device CY8C4247-LQI-483 it is showing an error message during build Error in component: cy_boot. The cy_boot_v3_40 component (cy_boot) is not compatible with the selected device. Please check the component datasheet for details on updating to a compatible component. what i need to do to make it compatible.
Show LessHi, i want to use stop mode at my project. Is there any example about it? I want my peripheral module to stay stop mode at inital. If user pushes the wake up button, module wakes up and starts advertisement. Module goes into stop mode again whereafter the preconfigured timeout has expired.
