Hello All,
I made the schematic for my first cypress project but have some errors which im not able to find which i have attahced. It seems the error may be in LPCOMP and ADC connections to external pins. Sorry for my nusance, 1st project it is.
Thanks

Show LessMy board has a CY8C4247LQI-BL493 and when I try to increase the power supply from the working 2.5V to 5V at about 4V the power increase rapidly triggering the current limit in the bench power supply that is set to 200mA, at 2.5V it use only 30mA
I tried to set VDDA,VDDD,VDDR to 5V and uncheck Variable VDDA in PSoC Creator without any change
I used MiniProg3 as programmer and tried also with CYC8KIT-042-BLE
Programming at 3.3V I get "Detected SiliconID: "FF FF 19 9E" is not in database " message
Programming at 2,5V I Get "Automatically Detected Device: CY8C4247LQI-BL493" and it succeeded
Any suggestion to have the board running at 5V as it was designed to work?
Show LessHi,
I am using the CY8CKIT-042-BLE Pioneer Kit. I have successfully installed and updated the PSo Creator. I have updated the firmware in both the dongle and the baseboard. Both the dongle and base board successfully updated the firmware. I then build the CapSense_LED project for both daughter boards. The SW is successfully written to FLASH. But when I try to Debug I get:
Error: dbg.M0015: Debugger exited unexpectedly during run. Encountered error (Target disconnected See output window for more information.)
The output window only has this message.
There was an unhandled error during the debug session. This has forced the debugger to shutdown.
I have gone to the Select Debug Target item in the Debug menu, selected the target and said connect. Doing Debug has the same result.
--------
If the code is loaded and the board is running. I can select the target as above. Then pick Debug Running Target and I can control the target, single step or breakpoint.
Can you suggest what I can do to get the Debug item working.
Thank you for the help

Show LessHey,
1. I want to make a design which includes DMA on PSoC\PRoC BLE. The datasheets says DMA is supported in PSoC BLE and PRoC.
But, in PSoC Creator this devices are not supported (Can't select them in the "device selector").
Are these devices available or future concept? I'm using PSoC version 3.3
2. Can DMA be used to transfer data from SRAM to external port?
3. Can DMA be used to transfer data from SPI peripheral to external port?
Thanks,
Valery
Show LessI use the chip Psoc4 CY8C4014SXA-421,two button control the two led.the button used spring, I use the Capsense CSD,Tuning method is auto(SmartSense), it's ok . I touch the key ,the led is light .but when i touch the key very slowly ,it's no touch signal ,led is not light ,that's why ,how can i do it?
We want to capture serial data - current sensing - to M series and transmit to a wireless network. Any options available using the PSoC 4 archetiture?
Show LessHow do you correctly configure an op amp in schematic capture which will take a non-inverting signal, amplify it and then send it on to ADC? The port I am having issues with is the output port of the amplifier, where I need to connect the external feedback resistor.
Show Lesshello there i have question about Day020_BLE_UART. i this UART to BLE peripheral in app_Ble.c file there are two function HandleBleProcessing and AppCallBack. can you tell me what is difference between them??
Show LessHi,
Can you please answer these questions?
1. How to resolve the random address of the remote central device just after the connection? I don't find the right API. I need this to filter out the unwanted connection requests.
2. How to modify the advertising filter settings? We just call CyBle_GappStartAdvertisement(CYBLE_ADVERTISING_FAST). But I want to dynamically change the advertising filters. Currently only option is through the top Design bit it is at the compile time.
3. Is it possible set the value of the CYBLE_GAP_MAX_BONDED_DEVICE ? It's set to 4 by default and auto generated.
Thanks & Regards,
Sharan
Show LessHey guys!
Me again. So I got nearly everything working. Two things:
When I try to set pin 3 or 4 on my CYBLE-022001-00 high, it just doesn't go high. This doesn't apply for any other pin. There is no short to GND. Do I have to configure something differently for those pins? Or might I have damaged something whilst soldering? It does look pretty ok to me. But I can't look under the BGA chip.
Second question: I managed to get BLE working very easyily. Sadly, when I write a value, the WRITE callback handler will get executed which is very nice. I in there can change my values which works awesome too. BUT it does not update the GATT DB and I always read the same value over BLE I set initially. Do I have to write that value back in some special way. Or do I even have to update the GATT DB manually? I tried the latter one and it didn't change a thing ... When I write a value, it gets through properly but the field in the CySmart reverts to the old value.
Then: when I want to READ something, I have no callback handler somehow. Is there a way to do that? Because for my BLE to SPI bridge I now have to WRITE the address, cache the retireved values into the GATT DB and then do a READ call over BLE which then gets the value read from SPI and updated into the GATT DB with the WRITE call before. Is there a way to do that better? The examples I found all just care about writing OR the handle read calls by returning the value with a notification.
Any help is very appreciated 🙂
Peace Noah
