Hello
I need to develop wireless system that should be transmit serial data from PSoC4 to my PC.
Is it possible with xbee module. please guide me
Show LessI am using CYBL-022001 Module, and trying to run BLE Battery Level example code that uses AtoD Converter. Problem is all example code assumes that I am using BLE pioneer board in CY8CKIT-042. and examples and documentation assume pioneer board is Jumpered J2 P3.0 to J3 Vref. Documentation in BLE_Battery_Level example says.
"When VREF is selected as reference to the ADC, and if the reference bypass is enabled, this will bring out VREF (through an internal series resistance)." This is Incredibly confusing, Is there any documentation on how the features of the ADC work? I can not see why this would be useful? Is this trying to tell me that you are supposed to be able to somehow use the chip to switch the reference around to different voltages? If so then how are you supposed to know when the output signal is actualy at the proper level. what if the reference does not dishcharge, what is the charge and discharge resistance? etc.
I must be missing some documentation? Where is the documentation on the chip, with its memory map, register map, and all that related stuff?
Hello,
How can I update dynamically the "device name ID" during the advertising ? And how to update the "manufacturer data" dynamically ? I use the CyBle_GapSetLocalName() and the CyBle_GapUpdateAdvData() methode, but the update is not correct. What is the correct BLE event I can wait before use these methodes ?
Thank you.
cordially
Charles
Show LessI can`t control output pin. I made as in example :
#define LED_OFF 1u
#define LED_ON 0u
RED_Write(LED_ON);
RED_Write(LED_OFF);
But it always On and not changed 😞
Attached pin settings window.
What wrong ?
Show Lesshello, I am working on a system that is working with a capacitive encoder I having trouble with the reading speed in pps.
the shaft speed is a little less than 10 rev per sec, if I setup the encoder counts to 100 ppr I would have a signal of nearly 1kHz of frequency
if the Counter UDB on the PSOC4 works at 12MHz then I should be able to increase the resolution to 1000 ppr, but when I do that the program doesnt even read the pulses, I switched the input threshold to LVTTL and with that I managed to have a good result at 100ppr, I cant seem to find out why is this happening, I need to increase the resolution.
The encoder datasheet says it is able to work at speeds of 7500rpm that means 125rps
the program triggers a relay when the counter exceeds the compare value, the switching is fast enough, but I need to increase the counter resolution
I appreciate your help
Show LessHello
I need to develop wireless system that should be transmit ADC data from PSoC4 to my mobile.Is it possible.i bought the CY8CKIT-042-BLE pioneer kit and CY8C4248LQI-BL-483 board. please guide me how to proceed with these boards. i installed PSOC creator IDE. i saw the examples and i took the ADC differential amplifier example and dump the program to the module but the data is not coming correctly on terminal.

Show LessHi, I am very new to PSOC programming. I basically need to get voltage readings from an electric (voltage divider) circuit and transfer it to a PC over Bluetooth. Is it possible to do this using PSoC 4 BLE pioneer kit, or any other PSoC device? If so, then can someone please give me some guidelines on how I should proceed?
Thanks!
Show LessHi all,
I programmed in debug mode for a project directly on a cy8ckit-142 with the miniprog 3. It was working fine, but with a lot of wires on it... Now, I put the cy8ckit-142 on a custom pcb but the clock seems to not work.
In psoc creator, I selected ECO as main clock. In this selection, there are two capacitances to give. I looked in the cy8ckit schematic but there is no capacity connected with the crystal oscillator (24MHz)...
Anyway, Is it the right clock selection? Because when I program with the miniprog3, power down, power up, nothing happens!
Any suggestion?

Show LessHello
I am programming device CYBL10563-56LQXI with development board CY8CKIT-042-BLE.
If I program it with PsocProgrammer 3.24.0 it takes about 15 seconds, together with verifying.
But If I program it with Perl example script (via Command promt) it takes almost 2 minutes with the same settings (SWD, Protocol clock=1,6Mhz...)
Does anybody know what makes this huge difference? Two minutes program time is useless for serial production (progamming) devices.
Thank you for your tips.
Show LessHello,
I am a newbie with programing, is there any way that i can use a comparator or opamp on psoc to detect zero cross? What i want to do is just feeding a sinewave signal in the input and receiving a zerocrossing signal at the output.
I appreciate your help.
