There is a error when I have two Central start at the same time try to scan and connect to two Peripheral.
#1. Two Central device start scan
#2. When receive CYBLE_EVT_GAPC_SCAN_PROGRESS_RESULT,
if the target mac address arrived then CyBle_GapcStopScan().
#3. After receive CYBLE_EVT_GAPC_SCAN_START_STOP try to connect.
But if there are two Central, I always get state=scanning, then report HCI_STATUS 12.
Any idea?

Hello,
I would like to know if there is a computer software that can send HCI commands via RS232 (when the module is in Direct Test Mode). Something like the BlueTool utility. I am asking this because I could not find any download link to BlueTool computer software. The idea is to have a GUI application and not send the commands using a terminal.
Thank you.
Show LessCan a BLE central, with custom profile, broadcast its presence. In other words is possible to know the presence of a BLE device configured as central, or I need to switch it from broadcaster to central?
Thanks,

I am attempting to resume advertising. Is there a particular way to do this? Currently I'm calling CyBle_GappStartAdvertisement() which returns a value of 259 This value is WAY out-of-range of the posted values in the header file. CyBle_GappEnterDiscoveryMode() is called within CyBle_GappStartAdvertisement() which is returning 259. Also where is CyBle_GappEnterDiscoveryMode() located?Show Less
There are many components which have hidden pins. One of them is I2C/UART/SPI
I've discovered, that these pins are predefined appropriately to schematic, And Tx pin is configured, as output.
For me it's logic and makes sense that pins are configured during component start, and unconfigured during stop.
Because I wanted to have different output pin configuration for this component, "windows-schematic style" programming damaged 2 external circuits, until I realized what's going on.
I was working before on nrf51 and can't get used to assumptions during programming, which I haven't done, can't change, and not aware of

I think I'm looking at the only product page for this part, but I don't see it. http://www.cypress.com/documentation/datasheets/cyble-222014-01-ez-ble-proc-bluetooth-42-module?source=search&keywords=222014-01&cat=technical_documents

Hello , I'm working with sds011 particle sensor and our psoc4-049 but I'm not getting proper configuration. if someone working with a similar sensor , would be very grateful for your help.
Thank you
I am attempting to communicate with a kit I have set-up as a peripheral and I am able to see it using the cysmart app, and I am also able to see it when I upload the heart rate collector example to my second kit. However when I try to utilize the custom profile on a sepreate application, I am unable to find the first device.
I have attached both projects for review. Is it possible my advertisement and/or scan settings are incompatibile?

Adam
Show LessHi,
I am thinking about a problem where I need your help. My device has two scenarios:
1 Scenario)
The device acts as a simple BLE beacon where it should transmit sensor data every 10 seconds, or whenever a user hits a button this Information should be transmitted.
Should I therefore use the communication via Advertising packages like the beacons do it? How can I grab the data from a specific beacon do I have to transmit the UUID in case I have more beacons? There could be more the 200 devices in the same room would that be a problem?
2 Scenraio)
I want to use the same device a a Gamepad where I need to check the buttons periodically so do I need a static connection between the device and a BLE Master (Ipad). This can not be done by simple beacon advertising packets right? I need to establish a real connection?
Could I implement both scenarios on the same device?
Thanks for you help,
best regards,
Nils
