Hello,
We are using a PSOC 4 CY8C42478ZI-MF485 and we need to switch the polarity of an IDAC using c-code but we can't find the command to do it. Is it possible to do this using software?
Thanks.
Show LessAs increasing of production quantity, we need to make programming of CYBLE-012011-00 on board with higher efficiency. We are now in system programming CYBLE-012011-00 using CY8CKIT-042. So the first idea is to get CYBLE-012011-00 preprogrammed before it is mounted on PCB, but I did not find any information on this from web. Could you shed some lights? Thanks.
Show LessHi,
I have a question regarding the CY5677 BLE4.2 dongle.
I use the example BLE4.2 project with the following configuration.
Security mode: 1
Security level: Unauthenticated pairing with encryption
I/O capabilities: No input/no output
Bonding requirement: Bonding
Link Layer Privacy disabled
The CY5677 BLE4.2 dongle is connected with the peripheral (CY8CKIT-143A pluged to the pioneer BLE kit) and it succesfully enables the notifications using the CySmart 1.2.
The problem is when I try to reconnect. In the pairing procedure, the error "Authentication failed. Value information mismatch" is displayed.
Applying the exact scenario using the dongle BLE4.1, this error is not noticed.
Why this error fires? Is perhaps a bug in dongle firmware or CySmart or am I doing something wrong?
Best Regards,
Yiannis
I working with the PRoC BLE as a central device,My project is to receive the data from the UART and send it through BLE...for few iteration the normal flow goes well, after some time on UART_GetByte() the normal flow gets stopped. Please let me know how to overcome this issue.

Show LessHello,
I want to use a PRoC based hardware for advertising slave ID & some 10 byes custom data from the save device to the central receiver / Phone. These slave devices will be in non-connectable advertise mode & go to sleep immediately after sending their packet
They will wake up every 10 sec on low freq crystal & send the packet again
most of the example codes that are provided do not have a non-connectable broadcast configuration
Can you let me know if there is an example code for PRoC / PSoC which i can use.

Show LessHello.
I'm trying to store array data to hole flash memory but I'v noticed it has some problem.
If i don't check a firmware mem area and store data address in flash memory, they will overlapped each things.
I'v searched some posts about how to store the data to flash or other place in posc.
And I found Emulated EEPROM that emulates an EEPROM device in the flash memory.
So I'v tried it my project but I could not find Emulated EEPROM Component on Psoc Creator using PSOC4 BLE.
I found the component when I make proejct with Psoc4.
Does Psoc4 BLE not supported Emulated EEPROM Component?
Thanks.
Show LessHi,
The PSoC-4-BLE device doesn't appear to have an EEPROM. I've found a couple of interesting functions/guides:
CyBle_StoreAppData
and
User_Sflash_Write example.
However I'm missing some information. E.g. is there a map of the SFlash area or is this dedicated to end-user?
I ask this because there saving bonding data appears to use CyBle_StoreStackData, but I have no idea where in Flash/SFlash that is storing data.
Any hints?
Thanks Dave
Show LessI created a class with a .c and .h file, I no longer need the class so I'm trying to delete it. I'm able to delete the .c fine however when I try to delete the .h I get:
"The action can't be completed because the file is open in cc1"
The files are no longer in my project workspace but still in the project directory. I've tried killing PSoC and I still get the error. Any ideas?
Show LessIs there a good place to start to research psoc or gcc libs I can use in PSOC4 specifically for std functions like itoa or other number conversion functions.
My end goal is to pull data from eeprom and print to serial port as I start to develop code to interface with flash read/write APIs.
There isn't an easy method to convert eeprom address and data to ascii (strings) to send to a serial port.
I had some good library calls in an old element14 include that I used to do em_eeprom reads and dumps but having problem making them port.
I would like to use the below standard scb function and feed to it a number conversion functions that accepts flash memory location as parameter.
UART_UartPutString("\r\nNormal String Output \r\n");
Any help is appreciated.
