Hello!
I am very interested in creating a guitar looper. This machine will get a guitar waveform and record it and then loop the soundwave.
To do that i will have to have a SOC that has not only an ADC, as everyone has, but also a DAC (maybe 12 bit?)
Will these low cost development platforms work for this kind of application?
http://www.cypress.com/documentation/development-kitsboards/cy8ckit-043-psoc-4-m-series-prototyping-kit
http://www.cypress.com/documentation/development-kitsboards/psoc-4-cy8ckit-049-4xxx-prototyping-kits
These two seem the same! What is the difference between them?..
Also, in their characteristics, i couldn't find if they contain DACs.
Not only that, i couldn't understand the SOC that these two had?
Is this the one?
Thanks a lot!
Show LessHi everyone,
I made a product with CYBLE-022001-00. I will take the product to mass production.
My question:
- How to set up MAC IDs in mass production? How do I assign a Mac id every time without opening the application software ?
- What is the method of assigning mac id to modules in serial production ?
Best Regards.
Show LessHi All,
I see that the PSoC Creator has as SFLASH size as 4k Bytes as is defined by the following -->
#define CYDEV_SFLASH_BASE 0x0ffff000u
#define CYDEV_SFLASH_SIZE 0x00001000u
Now I want to use only say 1000 bytes here. How do I do this ? Is it possible or not ? If possible how do I achieve it. Because every time I recompile it becomes 4k Again.
Show LessI want to measure the data throughput using BLE 4.2 as done in the 100_Projects_in_100_Days/Day024_Throughput.
But for some reason this code is not working on BLE 4.2, it "hangs" after a connection has been established.
Anybody knows a fix for this problem ?
Best regards
Jakob
Show LessI'm looking at this shield for the PSOC 4 development kit:
http://www.cypress.com/documentation/development-kitsboards/cy8ckit-026-can-and-lin-shield-kit
It says that it is mainly for automotive applications, but there are no sample projects that I could find that related directly to automotive applications. Does anyone know if there are any sample projects for an actual automotive application? Specifically for pulling information such as speed, RPMs, etc... from the OBD-II port through CAN from a vehicle?
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Show LessHello:
I’m using USB Dongle on account of Cy5672.It show uart number but has a sign of warning when the dongle was inserted into the USB interface. It shows "KitProg USB-UART(COM18)" and a sign of warning.
At the same time, the CySmart1.2 can’t detected the dongle .
What I should do to solve this problem? Or where can I get the right driver for the dongle?
Show LessSince i have a problem with my motor that can't rotate. So i decide that i want to know what's problem with my device.
So anybody have an experience using oscilloscope to measure the signal. Please give me the suggestion or any advise.
Thank you for you advise.
Show LessWe are trying to use CYAT8168X under Linux/Android, but we are unable to find CYAT8168X (GEN6?) linux driver source code in kernel mainline or lkml. Anybody knows how to get the source code ?
Appreciate for any help or clues.
Show LessI looked up some stuff with a search and it tells me to do __attribute__( ( section(".data") ) ) returnVariable Function ( variables) {... } and the compiler attempts to use this, but then gives me this warning. prj.M0121: Ignoring changed section attributes for .data
just wondering if there is easy way to fix this, or maybe someone can point me to the documentation on how to do this? this is on a PRoC4 for EZ BLE so the code size is small 128K code space in flash, so I want to force some functions into ram as I am running out of Flash space. I have 4K of free unused RAM to place some ROM/Flash functions into
Show LessHi,
Basically we want to send audio data from one CY8C4248 BLE unit to two CY8C4248 BLE receivers (stereo).
There are a lot of different configurations in BLE, Broadcaster, Observer, Central, Perpherial, ect., but which one is best suited for stream audio to two BLE receivers simultanously. Please note, that we do not have the option of using replacing our IC's CY8C4248, so I has to be a solution that can be implemented in these pSOC's.
Best regards
Jakob
