Hi!
I have a project in which an SPI master sends four continuous bytes of data to an SPI slave. All four bytes are transferred in one-go without releasing the SS pin. The SS pin is released high after all four bytes are transferred.
The input from the ,master is received correctly by the slave via MOSI pin. However the MISO pin gets glued to high position randomly and corrupts the slave output data. It also appears that the MISO pin goes to high impedance after the SS pin is released. (MISO output voltage slowly ramps down to 0V from initial 5V when SS pin is released)
(Blue = MISO. Yellow = SS)
Please help
Show LessCan anyone tell me how to tell if the BLE connection is 4.2 or 4.0?
I am using CY8CKIT-042-BLE for android application development. My problem is the android app disconnects from BLE after 30 secs. I donot call BluetoothGatt.disconnect() anywhere in my code. I need to have a persistent connection throughout. Please help.@@@@@
Show LessI am new to PSoC and am trying to learn.I built a project that allows the motor to move forward when the button is pressed. Now I am trying to figure out the best way to change between the forward and reverse directions with the push a button.
I have attached my project below

Hi All,
I plan on using PSoC 4200 micro in my project. I have a few questions as I have never used any PSoC or cypress micro before.
1) What is the AI input impedance or leakage current of PSoC 4200 micro? Will it be ok to measure voltage signal (0-18V) using a voltage divider without a buffer. I can't find AI input impedance or leakage current in the datasheet to size up divider resistors. My circuit is supposed to run on 5V supply and 4.096 analog VREF.
2) Does PSoC 4200 have built in boot loader? I was looking at CYC8KIT-0049 board. It has a USB-UART converter connected to Target's UART. I am not sure if the board is programmed with boot loader in the factory or if the boot loader is built in.
3) Is hitachi LCD driver software based or is it done all in hardware?
Thanks.
Show LessI made some example for check "SendIndication". I used thermometer profile.
Connected with CySmart application and try to check value of pressed button but it not send any data ( or data not changed).
attached project. please help !
Show LessI need to connect to a Peripheral from a Central, write a value to a custom service characteristic and disconnect. I looked into the Day 6 sample ( from 100 projects in 100 days) and it looks like it's close to what I need.but it uses the Alert service and CyBle_IascSetCharacteristicValue() API. In my case there is a custom service and a characteristic (4 bytes)
Questions
1. What API should be used to write a custom service characteristic with known UUID of both?
2. The code in day 6 sample calls CyBle_GattcStartDiscovery. In my case, with UUID of the service and characteristic known, is there a need for that?
Thank you
Andy
Show LessHello Cypress.
Could you please provide recommended design guide of radial pattern?
Below document does not explained much in detail.(Only Figure 2-16)
(clearance between caps, number of caps, caps area, angle, trace length, GND pattern, etc)

Hello,
We would like to demonstrate a burglar alarm that was driven with PWMs of PSoC4000S.
And the PWMs drive a piezoelectric buzzer like the PKM17EPP-4001-B0.

We hope a burglar alarm like below.

Does anyone can provide or help me building the project?
Best regards,
Yocchi
