If 5V is taken out from AC12V5A using DCDC converter and supplied to PSOC4, only capsense operation will be stopped.
We can confirm that high / low switches during loops such as pin.
It works with no problem with input from kitprog. It works even if you put 12v later.
Is there anything wrong?
Show LessI have been trying to open the design files for the Capsense Liquid level sensing shield but I cannot seem to be able to open the PCB files. The schematic files have opened up no problem but not the PCB files. I was wondering would it be possible to get an updated version of these files.
Show LessHi,
First of all congratulations for your community.
I would like to know how to define every part in my layout. I have a seven segments linear slider surrounded for a proximity sensor. My question is:
Q1: I found in the design guidelines that two more GND segments should be added at the beginning and at the end of the slider, is it necessary if I add a GND hatched plane? If the hatched plane is used for the shield electrode is necessary these GND segments? (I will implement two mount/no mount 0ohms resistors to have both options)
Q2: I found that the proximity sensor needs a ground loop around, but i didn't found anything about the inside of the proximity. In my case, the slider will be inside the proximity sensor, so the hatched plane (SH or GND) of the slider could interfere with the proximity sensor?
Have any advice to create the layout with both solutions would be great,
Thank you
Victor
Show LessHello,
I am trying to develop a PSoC 4 BLE application where I will be dynamically changing the advertising type between connectable and unconnectable advertising.
Is there an API to achieve this functionality? Also, can I just call that API to change the advertising type between advertising events? Or do I need to restart the BLE stack for that change to take affect?
Thank you.
Show LessAt present I know that we can use CyBle_GapGetLocalName to read BLE device's changed name and then using CyBle_GapSetLocalName and saving that local name in FLASH memory can change my device namme. Even after reset device name retains if we call CyBle_GapSetLocalName with saved device name from FLASH. Its clear that I am reading device name by polling, If device name is changed I will get in CyBle_GapGetLocalName otw not.
Is there any kind of event that is generated on PSoC BLE device , if I change my BLE device name from my android side using GAP's device name characteristic.
Show LessHello,
I have a question about reconfiguration of GPIO of PSoC4000S.
If the GPIO is configured as CapSense:Sns, can we reconfigure it as Digital output or Digital input mode immediately with API?
Best regards,
Yocchi
