PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
Hi,
I am trying to implement Fixed stack BLE OTA uploading on PSoC 4200 BLE [CY8C4248LQI-BL583]. I have done all the steps as described in the PDF but I am getting error as mentioned above.
Error is "Build error: CyBle.h: No such file or directory" file is pointed to ota_mandatory.h. In pdf they have mentioned 6 header files and 3 source files to copy from fixed stack bootloadable workspace. So there is no Cy_Ble folder in our PWM_Example01 to contain Cy_Ble.h and other files. Do I need to copy that folder also?
Please someone help me asap.
Show LessHi,
I have just bought psoc 4 pCY8CKIT-049-42XX - PSOC 4200 Prototyping Kit. I could successfully programmed it using bootloader/bootloadable components. using Creator 4.2 IDE.
My question is that - is it compulsory to use the Bootloadable component everytime I create a new project? And, if I could program it without this component , can this prototype kit be programmed again with same process? or do I need KitProg3 type connector?
Thank you.
Show Lesshello im devlope capacitive touch panel for home wall switch, i also make this with remote controle, im used rc5 protocol for the remote control the touch panel and my firmwear almost done but i want make the universel remote control by this rc5 remote control, because in my touch panel i programme fix switch of the remote, but its so defficut for instalation in home because there is so many porogramm bulit for each touch panel for all home, thats so complicated for me and costomer , so i want to make the universal fearmwear for the my touch panel, example- ones a costemer touch any button for 5 sec and more and after they switch any button of remote so the switch set on perticular button , thats way its so easy for me and costomer also, but i trie for this firmwear devloped but i dot do this, so i want help from thats type firmewear devloper or get any hint from him , so give me any suggetion or tips for this type firmweare, pls repay to me as soon as fast posible, thank you
Show LessHi everyone,
I want help from the support team to select the perfect controller for my application.
Description & specs:
- at least 5 ADC ports
- ADC Resolution: 12 bit or higher
- to read 50 ksps /1 ADC port (not necessarily all ADC at the same time)
- save the recorded data and transmit them via BLE or WIFI
- to connect multiple sensors (slave) in chain or to a central hub (master) (can you suggest best technology to perform this task)
thank you for your support
Show LessI have executed example code given for CY8CKIT- 042 (CE210291_CapSense_P4_One_Button01.cydsn) and its working fine. I would like to connect CY3280-SLM Universal CapSense Linear Slider Module with CY8CKIT-042 and make use of the CapSense buttons on CY3280-SLM instead of Slider on CY8CKIT-042. I tried it by connecting the P1.1 pin (one of the CapSense pins) of CY8CKIT-042 with one of the CapSense buttons (out of 5) of CY3280-SLM Universal CapSense Linear Slider Module but it’s not working.
I have attached the main code used for CapSense Button of CY8CKIT-042.
Can anyone help me in connecting both the boards and suggest if any changes to be made in code?
Show LessHello,
Not so familiar with psoc timer interrupt.Just want to ask how I can use a timer interrupt using psoc 4 if for example I want a device to wait for let say 3 minutes of inactivity then only by then it will activate the sleep mode or gpio signal.
Thanks

Show LessHello,
I have a question.
Please refer to URL below.
Reconfiguring GPIO of PSoC4000S
I can reconfigure CapSense CMOD to GPIO input about PSoC4000S dinamically, right?
I tried it. It can run well.
Do you have any problems?
Best regards,
Yocchi
Show LessHi,
This is to announce that a new version (1.0) of the Annotation Library been uploaded into Community Code Examples section:
The Library can be used to annotate PSoC projects and make schematics. The Library Datasheet is attached.

Show LessI have a project based on the L2CAP throughput PSoC-4-BLE/100_Projects_in_100_Days/Day024_Throughput at master · cypresssemiconductorco/PSoC-4-BLE · GitHub example. I am getting good through put much of the time, but I find that the number of packets I can send depends on the connection. If I disconnect and reconnect, I get different results for throughput each time. What could possibly affect that? Is there some negotiation at connection that might be different each time?

Up to about 70 packets a second or down to 10 packets a second depending on when I connect. Once connected, the rate is pretty consistent 5-10% variance during connection. If I disconnect and reconnect, the rate will likely be different.
Show LessHello,
I have mylar keyboard (2 layers) with some buttons of different sizes on top side and the shield on bottom side (all around the keys - no under the buttons).
The keyboard is covered by a glass.
The application is the remaking of a previous one already in operation and involves the replacement of the previous micro (CY8C21543) with a PSoC of the 4000S family (CY8C4045AZI-S413).
I have a behavior that I find strange and not good:
when I touch the shield the Raw-Conts of all the keys are raised (see Graph image). A phenomenon that is amplified in the presence of water on the glass.
In the image below the configurations of the CapSense module (v6.0). These are the main information regarding the shield:
• Inactive sensor connection: shield
• IDAC discovery configuration: IDAC sourcing
• Shield SW resistance: low EMI
Through the Self-Test functions I exceeded the Cmod value and the key capacities that are:
Shield capacity ~ 50 pF
Capacity of keys 8 ÷ 11pF
Is the behavior normal? If not, can you give me some suggestions on how to solve?
Thanks
Best regards
Samuele
