As per the datasheet of CY8CMBR3108,
"The CapSense controller locks up the user interface in firmware to prevent touch inputs in streaming water"
We have an requirement that, touch pads should be working when there is streaming water on the touch pads. Please suggest if Enabling the 'shield electrode' and 'guard sensor' will help us in meeting our requirement.
If not, what are the other options ... please suggest.
Thanks,
Govind.
Show LessHello,
I'm doing some tests with the CYBLE-012011-00 chip and the example project called "BLE_Battery_Level".
When I connect to the device via the CySmart application on the Android platform everything works properly, but when I try to connect via CySmart 1.3 and BLE dongle on Windows 10 the connection is almost interrupted with an error: CONNECTION_FAILED_TO_BE_ESTABLISHED (see log in attachment).
I also tried to create a Windows 10 Application with the Microsoft libraries available at this address https://github.com/microsoft/Windows-universal-samples/tree/master/Samples/BluetoothLE and the result is the same, it is almost impossible to establish a connection.
I also tried using CySmart on Windows 7 with the same results, while on Android everything always works correctly.
Please, do you have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
I am using cy8c4025 axi-412
And trying to send out UART data on capsense button press..
On single touch only one time data should send on UART. Bt practically it sends data 3 to 4 times on single touch.
How can I limit this data to send for only one time.
Show LessHi,
I am using PSoC4 I2C component,I configured it with 100 Kbps, but it is working with other baud rates like 10kbps,50kbps,200kbps also.how can make for other baud rates disable
Show LessDear all,
I can't connect my chip by DAP_Acquire command after I set the fully protect for some flash row
Commands like this:
OpenPort MiniProg3/123456789ABC .
SetAcquireMode "Reset"
SetProtocol 8
SetProtocolClock 16
SetProtocolConnector 0
SetPowerVoltage 3.3

PSoC device is not acquired! Check connection of the chip to the programmer
DAP_Acquire returned 80004005
80004005 OK
But after I replugging the MiniProg3 then DAP_Acquire will succeed.
Is it possible to let me no need to replugging the MiniProg3 after open fully protect?
Thank you!

Show LessHello everyone.
I've been trying to implement a non-inverting amplifier for a couple of days without any success.
The kit I'm using is the PSoC 4200-BLE kit, CY8C4247LQ-BL483.
This is the example Opamp project I'm evaluating:
The input signal:
The yellow is the input signal and the blue one the output.
The thing is I've noticed the Vout hasn't the same frequency as the input signal. Furthermore, the oscilloscope can't even read it because it seems to change randomly.
This was the best result I could get and it was using 800mV sinewave as the Vin+. If I change this value, the Opamp doesn't amplify at all.
For example using 200mV as input:
Any ideas of why isn't it working properly?
I get that the Opamps inside the PSoC are single supplied so they can't amplify the negative side of the sine wave and the top of the output gets clipped because of the reference Voltage. Is it possible to change Vref from 3.3V to 5V internally so the Opamp can amplify up to 5V?
Thanks!
Show LessI am trying to attach a copy of my project to a discussion question. I created a bundle and it was saved. Then I created a discussion question and clicked on the attach icon at the lower right of the message editor. I then selected the file (or is it a zipped folder?) but there seemed to be nothing I could do to get it accepted as an attachment to the question.
Maybe I'm too stupid to operate a question box!
I'd be grateful for some help.
Thanks,
Dennis
Show LessI have a major problem with a design in which I am trying to use the example EM_EEPROM component from the pioneer kit to store a few strings in flash on a Cy8ckit-049 platform. I ported the the quite simple EM_EEPROM example project from the pioneer over to the 049 and intergrated with the 049 bootloadable blinking led project.
The problem is if I don't REMARK OUT -->status = Em_EEPROM_1_Write(array,eepromArray,14u); , the app breaks.
Normally the 049 runs the BOOTLOADER at power-up. If the switch is not pressed within a short time, control passes to the other project (the main bootloadable app). The problem that occurs is as long as we leave the above listed WRITE active the 2nd boot-up causes the BOOTLOADER to always go active, ie flash and wait for bootloaderhost to start bootload sequence and we can never pass control to the main bootloadable app.
Ie, on first boot, the above EM_EEPROM write occurs and modifies flash string, but then on 2nd boot we stick in the bootloader from that time forward on all boots.
It's like some mechanism is noticing that the cksum has changed and then forces the control to somehow stay in the bootloader.
If you can imagine what is happening here I would greatly appreciated it.
I have also attached the creator 3.3 bundle with notes at the top of the main.c describing the recreated problem.
Show LessHello,
I am trying to interface modbus rtu slave on CY8C4126AXI-S433..
is there something on Pscoc creator? there is a library for this?

Show LessHi.
What are the advantages of IDAC autocalibration?
Avoid flat spots by adjusting the baseline to 85%.
Tuning can be simplified.
What other advantages do you have?
I understand that changes in the environment are being addressed by baseline algorithms.
Also, what are some of the concerns you may have if you disable autocalibration, that is, manually configure IDAC?
Best Regards.
