My project built fine the last time i tried but afaik I have changed nothing and it now wont build. I keep getting the error
Generated_Source\PSoC4\cm0gcc.ld:96: undefined symbol `RomVectors' referenced in expression
I found this issue that looks kinda similar but was resolved with deleteing "Generated_Source" directory which didn't help for me.... https://community.infineon.com/t5/PSoC-Creator-Designer/Trying-To-Use-emWin-Graphics-Library-With-PSoC-5-Getting-Undefined-Symbol/td-p/176033 ( I also tried clean build, deleting all generated files etc, no help either)
I also found this issue with a similar error message but this is to do with using cpp (not what i'm doing) so i don't know if it's relevant https://community.infineon.com/t5/PSoC-Creator-Designer/Using-C-for-PSoC/td-p/70663
I haven't changed any linker options or anything since it worked - any help or insight is much appreciated - please let me know what other information might help diagnose.
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Hello,
Why is the power supply voltage slew rate (1 to 67V/ms) specified as max 67V or less?
For example, it is the same as the reset pulse width when using an external reset IC, and if the reset is released too quickly, the oscillator etc. will not be stable and hardware abnormalities will occur.
Is there a reason why it is stipulated?

Show LessDear all.
I've used this chip quite a lot, starting from the CY8CKIT-043 schematic and adding peripherals around.
I've seen some units die because of improper handling like hot connection of a connector with power and data lines that does not ensure that the ground is connected first.
If the chip is totally bricked, it normally draws more current than It should and gets hot.
If only some GPIOS are damaged due to EOS or ESD you can easily check which one was to blame because the protection diodes are blown or degraded.
However, in my device none of this is happening. It died after being up and running for 3 hours without any obvious external event. The diodes are fine, the chip consumes very little current but all its VSS and VDD (+5V) lines are properly connected. It's like its on a permanent RESET state, but the RESET line is high. I've even tried replacing the quartz crystal thinking that it could have broken due to vibrations but I can't bring the chip to life again, and -what is worse- I don't know what to do to prevent it from happening again!
Any help would be very welcome.
By the way, the device run by the PSOC chip is an Engine Control Unit for a small 4 stroke gasoline engine that powers an unmanned aerial vehicle.
There are many inconveniences because the number of collected data that can be stored in BCP is limited to 10,000.
If you look at the attached image file, you can see the outliers in the actual data on a graph, but it cannot be saved and analyzed.
Regarding some inquiries, it is said that the problem has already been forwarded to the SW team.
Why isn't an improved version released?
Why is data stored only after it is collected? You can just save the data as a file right away...
We ask for a quick resolution.

Dear Sirs and Madams,
We have a question about ExtClk clock settings in Bootloader project.
We are using CY8C4024AZI-S403 device with a UART Bootloader configuration in PSoC Creator 4.4 IDE.
In order to improve the clock accuracy of UART communication, The system clock is running with ExtClk.
When receiving a firmware update command from UART, the Bootloader is started by calling the Bootloadable_Load() API.
We have confirmed that the firmware update can be completed successfully if the Bootloader clock resource is IMO.
< Bootloader project clock settings : IMO >
However, firmware updates will not work properly if the Bootloader clock resource is set to ExtClk.
< Bootloader project clock settings : ExtClk >
*Note 1: Both projects correctly assign Bootloader.hex to Dependency of Bootloadble.
Is it not possible to set the Bootloader clock resource to ExtClk in the UART Bootloader of PSoC4000S?
Since clock accuracy between target of PSoC4000S and the host is important for UART communication, We are considering using ExtClk instead of IMO.

Show LessHello,
I am trying to build a variable frequency drive by following this reference board REF-MHA1KIM5PSOC4.
The schematic and all other details are provided however its cannot find its code.
Can someone please share the code for this board?
Thanks
Show LessI am querying the register address and value of chip id of products CY8C4046FNI-T412T and CY8C4046FNI-T452EST, I do not know whether I have searched correctly.
The register address for chip id we found in the 400T series specification is 0x0FFFF144. Is the chip id address of the 400T series the same?
The corresponding register values are shown in the following two pictures.
I hope someone can help with that. Thank you very much.
