Hi,
In the CY8CKIT-0420-BLE -A PIONEER KIT, the evaluation board is using to connect the BLE board to the computer.
Is there a diagram that shows which pins in the BLE chip correspond to which pins on the evaluation board?
For example (image attached), after programming the chip how can I move the thermistor pins from the eval board to the BLE board? and what changes in the code?

Hello.
Below is description of CapSense component datasheet.
=====================================
A higher modulator clock-frequency reduces the sensor scan time.
This results in lower average power consumption and reduces the noise in the raw counts.
=====================================
How much will raw count noise increase when modulator clock frequency reduces?
I want to know increase rate of raw count when modulator clock frequency reduces.
For example, the scan time doubles when the frequency changes from 48MHz to 24MHz.
Will raw count noise also double in that case?
Best Regards.

Show LessHello.
When CY8C4126AZQ-S433(IMO is 24MHz) is used, is it possible to use a 48MHz external clock?
If external clock is set to 48MHz, an error will be displayed like a below figure.
However, if divider is set to 2, an error disappears and build succeeds.
Is it possible to use 48MHz external clock that exceeds the IMO's 24MHz by setting the divider to 2?
PSoC4100S datasheet explains that the upper limit of the external clock is 48MHz.
I think that even 24MHz PSoC4100S can use 48MHz external clock by setting the divider to 2.
Because build was successful and datasheet also explains that upper limit is 48MHz.
However, I would like to confirm that the understanding is correct just in case.
Best Regards.

Show LessHello Everyone!
I wonder if I can use Linear slider with Mutual Cap Sensing Mode?
Is it possible to use Linear Slider with mutual Cap?
Thank you in advance!

Show LessMy team and I are looking for a suitable Cypress MCU part for the following applications and features needed.
One of my clients is considering to replace a MLX81315 Melexis with a Cypress MCU part.
Smart LIN driver IC for DC, stepper, BLDC motors (MLX81310/15) #Melexis
There are available candidates listed on the left side block of the diagram above,
but I am here to ask for an advice if there is any better Cypress MCU part suggestion adequate for the job.
The MCU part, that we seek, shall
- be used for the step motor starter application for "active grille shutters" (which help vehicle's aerodynamic design).
- be used along with the LIN step motor gate driver from Infineon (see the blocks above).
- support LIN communication protocol
- have an equal or smaller packaging size with the products listed above preferrably due to PCB size.
(S9S08SL8F1MTJ (TSSOP-20) / ATSAMHA1E15A-B(32-pin QFN) / S6E1C32B0AGP20000 (LQFP-32) )
- have a relatively good delivery date in terms of logistics.
If you could suggest us the Cypress part that fits for the MCU part of the block, that would be really appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Hi I have read the answers about provided solution but it does not work for me:
Next onces have very poor info hoe to do it:
https://community.cypress.com/t5/PSoC-4-MCU/Simultaneously-advertise-and-scan/td-p/224178
Is there is ability to provide us a demo project with enabling scanning and advertising at the same time?
Or more details?
Show LessI put the device into sleep mode and turn off the LCD power to save current. After that, initialization does not work anymore, only a reset.
I tried to loop the program with goto start and the LCD only works the first time.
If I use reset instead of "goto" the LCD works every time.
Hi All,
I am aware that the PSOC 4 SCB UART is fixed to a few groups of pins on a device. Can I use the HSIO matrix to change the pins to another set of pins of my choosing and it still work? I don't need to dynamically change back and forth all I want is for them to be set and they work. I already made 50 boards and I am stuck with the device and trying to fix a mistake I made. The current device I am using is CY8C4244LQI-443 and the current pins the SCB UART are on is P3[0] (RX) and P3[1] (TX). I want P1[7] (TX) and P2[0] (RX) if possible. Can anyone help me out please 😃? If there is a better way to do this I am open to ANY suggestions. Is there a software based UART that receives and transmits? I am aware of the SW TX Uart. I tried using the UDB based UART but that doesn't fit in two UDB's 😓.
For what it is worth I found this:
https://community.cypress.com/t5/PSoC-4-MCU/Dynamic-reconfiguration-of-UART-pins/td-p/126450
I want to do something similar as to what was done in this link but can't figure out what in the world the HSIO stuff means to make it useful for my predicament.
Thanks,
Eric
