I am trying to read the voltage of a battery using the SAR ADC but I am not getting the correct values. The ADC outputs 0x7FF0 no matter what the voltage is I am trying to measure. I am using a voltage divider with 357K ohm resistors and an input voltage of 3.8V though this can go as low as 2.5V. The ADC is using an internal Vref of 1.024V. Any help would be appreciated.
Show LessBecause of market availability we remake a board that curretly mount CY8C4245AXI-483 with CY8C4014SXI-420.
But now we cannot program our board with this micro.
Psoc Creator do not find board and psoc programmer try to program with som power cycles but then freeze.
We seen that tring to unsolder some components from board programming goes successfully.
But this solution is not proposable for undreds of board that we have to product.
So, is there a way to program these boards without make hardware modifications ?
We seen some other people have same problem with CY8C4014SXI-421. We tried to program without auto detect, and, try to make a curcuit with transistor on XRES that drive VCC but still don't work.
I attach schematics.
Thanks in advice.

Hello,
I have a question about CapSense_SetParam API for PSoC4000S.
If I set "CapSense_BUTTON0_IDAC_MOD0_PARAM_ID" for argument "uint32 paramId", the BAD_PARAM is returned.
Maybe "CapSense_BUTTON0_IDAC_MOD0_PARAM_ID" is not writable.
Is this correct?
What spec says that "CapSense_BUTTON0_IDAC_MOD0_PARAM_ID" is not writable?
Best regards,
Yocchi
Show LessHi
I want to make Eddystone Observer with PSoC4 Devkit.
I was able to read Eddystone TLM & UUID from one beacon device. But I don't know how to associate TLM data and UUID data.
Should I read the advetiser's address?
if its above is correct ,How to read?
I want you to answer my question.
My conddition.

Show LessHi,
in my project I have reserved the last page to parameters of application, but every load of firmware by PSoc Creator this section is erased, How can I avoid this ?
I am using CY8C4146 MCU.

Show LessHello,
I have a similar problem to this:
I want to exchange the keyboard shortcuts build.build project (Shift+F6) and build.build workspace (F6).
I cannot remove the shortcuts or assign them to the other function.
I can assign other combinations which are not taken already but i cannot remove them again.
I get the same error message as shown in the link above - "Sorry but the key 'xyz' is protected and cannot be assigned or removed.
I did this on a different pc and it worked. On both PC I recently installed PSoC Creator 4.4.
The only difference I see is that on the PC where it does not work, PSoC Creator 4.2 was previously used, whereas the PC where it worked was freshly set up.
I hope for a quick solution as I need to remove the nonsensical combination I added as a test xD
Show LessHello,
We have a Capsense over BLE project that works through a UART interface (following this helpful solution), and we can use the component tuner to display all data from the board including signal values, raw counts, baseline, and diff counts for all sensors. We were trying to determine what the data array structure is like in the BLE characteristic, so that we could read the data out in other bluetooth connected software. Is the data structure a standard, or can you help us find how the structure is built in the project source code?
Until recently the dongle was working quite happily but now something seems to have happened to it.
When plugged in to the computer it isn't recognised as a COM device any more, Windows 10 treats it as an external drive and under Device Manager it appears as another drive, not a COM device.
I have updated the Firmware using CySmart 1.3, but when I try and upload the HEX file ( \\ \\ \\BLE_4_2_Dongle_CySmart_256K_psoc.hex using Programmer 3.29.1) I get the error that the PSoc device is not acquired.....
The red light is on and the green status light fades on and off rather than blinking.
I have tried all that I can find and got nowhere so I'm wondering if it is beyond repair. Anyone else been here or have any ideas?
(I have another dongle on order so this isn't life and death, but it is bugging me.)
Many thanks
Andy
Show LessHello,
The sensor1 is measured 7pf, meet the requirement>5pf.
While I want to increase mode Idac >30 by increasing auto calib%, but result is reverse as I imagined.
What's the reason?
Is there any self touch tuning guide theory I can refer?

HI ,
I use PSoC4 Capsense function for 12keys touch.
when I run
CapSense_ProcessAllWidgets();
CapSense_ScanAllWidgets();
Now, I use "CapSense_IsWidgetActive" function to check which key is pressed one by one.
Is there any other function to directly confirm which button is pressed?
