Hi All,
I am developing one project which has 20mm diameter of proximity button and wants to operate above or equal to 5cm distance.
Kindly any one suggest the relation between proximity button diameter and the operation sensing distance.
Regards,
AsDh

Hi @AsDh_4015406 ,
As a thumb rule, the loop diameter should be at least equal to the proximity distance required. In your case, we can guarantee up to 2 cm prox distance for 2 cm prox loop. If you need a prox distance of 5 cm, you need to have a loop diameter of at least 5 cm. Please check the following app note
