Hello.

PSoC4(CY8C4125LQI) WDT counter works normally if device is powered on, but WDT counter does not work normally at debug mode.(device is not reset)

Does not WDT counter work normally in debug mode?

Best Regards.

Hi @YuMa_1534086 ,

To answer your queries -

1. Once you reset, you will lose connection with the debugger. This is not recommended. You can try reading the soft reset reason and print it somewhere so that you get to know.

2. Yes even in sleep and deep-sleep mode at debug mode, you will lose connection with the debugger.

Best Regards,

Aashita

Hi @YuMa_1534086

Yes, the behavior of WDT reset is unpredictable in debug mode. The reason being if the device resets, the connection to the debugger is lost and thus WDT reset is disabled.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Rakshith-san.

Thank you for your support.

I have additional questions.

Please confirm below.

Q1)

Is software reset command also disabled at debug mode?

Or does PSoC Creator become error at the line of software reset command?

Q2)

Do sleep mode and deep sleep mode work properly at debug mode?

Best Regards.
