Hi,
We are considering PSoC4500S as a segment LCD driver.
The specifications required for the segment LCD driver are "COM x8, SEG x32, 1/3 bias".
I confirm for the Segment LCD components of PSoC4S, but 4 com can support 1/3 bias, but 8 com cannot support 1/3 bias.

Do you know how to make 1/3 bias compatible with 8 com?

Hi @MiNe_85951 ,
As per the information shared by you and also as mentioned through the table in the datasheet, I see that there are some limitations with the combination of 8 COM and 1/3 bias use cases. However, I would confirm internally once and post here my response once I get a reasoning from my internal team.
Meanwhile, you can go through the application note here : https://www.cypress.com/documentation/application-notes/an87391-psoc-4-segment-lcd-direct-drive. This AN has pointers to some basic projects which you can check at your end for initial testing. Please add here in case you have any further query.
Best Regards,
Aashita
